Art & Culture

Anybody can find something to pique their interest in Singapore.

Why not pay a visit to the Singapore Arts Museum and admire some of best contemporary and modern art from around the region? Or perhaps spook yourself at the Haw Par Villa theme park, dedicated to Chinese Mythology and folklore, or deepen your understanding of Pan-Asian cultures at the Asian Civilisation Museum.

Or pop into the state-of-the-art lotus-flower shaped ArtScience Museum for a blockbuster exhibition or marvel at the wealth of visual art on display at the Singapore Pinacothèque De Paris. But that’s not all, Singapore is strewn with little specialty museums, like the Peranakan museum or the private Intan, dedicated to the unique culture of the Peranakan people and their interesting mixed heritage. Also check out Gillman Barracks, a sprawling art enclave dotted with art galleries and artsy cafes.
