We spent ten days in a well-appointed appartment, which extends over two floors and has a balcony with beatiful views towards a wooded hillside. It has all you need for a comfortable stay and is in easy reach of good markets and places to eat. Villlecroze is delightful and not far from terrific scenery (Gorges du Verdon). We really hope to be back before too long!
An immaculate open plan layout on one level - clean and with everything you could want. Beautifully furnished and well equipped. Set in lovely private grounds with the use of the owners garden and amazing pool a couple of minutes from the cottage. Anne was very helpful - the area is rural and scenic. We would hope to go back.
We stayed in this lovely apartment in September. The owner was most helpful in sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge of the Var. We explored the area daily, visiting lovely hillside villages, hiking the surrounding areas, enjoying daily markets, lunching at starred Michelin restaurants and even participating in a perfume workshop in Grasse. It was such a pleasure to return at the end of the day to the beautiful estate where this cottage is located and relax around the perfectly landscaped and situated heated saltwater pool. And the starry nights were breathtaking!
What a wonderful escape. There really is not that much to do in the area but that is why I chose to vacation here. We are a couple with a dog and stayed in Apartment 1. The open floor plan is beautifully decorated. Clean and fresh. Absolutely everything and anything you can think of is provided. And, if it is not, just ask Anne and voila there it is. The fenced in terrace was a god send for our dog, giving her and us the freedom to relax and enjoy.
There is a little walk to the pool at the main house. The pool is wonderful. Simply divine.
Anne is friendly and the best hostess ever. So, accommodating. A real sweetheart and that made our stay even more perfect.
Thank you Anne.
My wife, two boys and I had one of the best holidays ever staying in this lovely appartment! The pool is sensational and there is a feel of real quality throughout the accommodation - especially the lovely stone floors. And we were all made to feel extremely welcome throughout our stay. It was our first time in Provence as a family, and this is a wonderful area for children and adults. We never ran out of things to do - swimming in the lake, rivers and gorge, climbing, ropes courses, walking, wine tasting, rafting, the list goes on. Villecroze itself is a lovely little village with a number of good restaurants and an excellent baker. There are also many other beautiful villages within easy driving distance. It's a truly lovely place to stay.
