“A True Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 25 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This fabulous property is not to be missed. Superb, high spec villa that wants for nothing, complete with its infinity pool that overlooks the magnificent Tarn Valley. An ideal base to explore the unique Medieval hilltop towns (Bastides) of the Medi Pyrenees, to drop into a Cave to appreciate the renowned Gaillac wines or to simply relax and unwind in this rural idyll.

“Beautiful villa with wonderful views.”
Reviewed 18 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Les Trois Vents is a beautiful villa. Ideal for relaxing but also great for exploring the surrounding area however we didn't venture far from the lovely pool, which has amazing views across the valley. Situated next to a vineyard and close to Gaillac for all essentials.
The villa has everything to could ask for with lovely views from all the bedrooms. The property is very well equiped. The table tennis and WiFi were an added bonus. The house is exactly as advertised, a home from home.
Christine greeted us on arrival and was more than happy to provide advice if needed. Orla the owner was most helpful during the booking process and responded quickly to any questions we had.
Les Trois Vents offers everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. We would highly recommended this property and have booked already for next year.

A truly beautiful house, providing all the necessities for a relaxing holiday and several luxuries besides. Christine (who lives nearby) could not have been kinder in helping us settle in - even collecting us from the train station at Gaillac as we'd come from Carcassone airport by public transport. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. We loved the views from the deck and swimming pool. Plucking ripe plums from the trees as we strolled along the back roads past fields of sun flowers was a perfect pleasure! Local villages and cities and beauty spots are easy to get to by car. I loved Toulouse, my husband loved Albi. We both loved Ambialet and the steep trek up to the priory on the top of the hill.

Liked best: eating our evening meals on the deck
Liked least: The 5k walk into Gaillac is on a busy road. Sadly, driving is really the only safe option.

“Ideal for just relaxing or a base for exploring the surrounding area”
Reviewed 28 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

LTV was very comfortable, well equipped & conveniently situated for exploring the many sites nearby with great views across the surrounding countryside.

The owners Orla & Chris were very helpful.

In all, I spent a relaxing week just hangout at the gite & exploring the surrounding area.

“Beautiful House in a beautiful part of France”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We have just arrived home after spending two weeks in this beautiful property. This house is everything as is advertised. It has every comfort that a family would need on holiday. We were greeted on arrival by the very helpful Christine, who showed us around the house and was always on hand with helpful advice if we needed it. The house is spacious and extremely well equipped. The Wi-Fi was a big bonus with the teenagers! The gardens surrounding the house are a joy to the senses with the herbs and lavender scenting the air. Swimming in the private pool overlooking the Tarn Valley was a daily treat. The view has to be seen to be believed as the sky constantly changes. We were lucky to see an incredible thunder and lightening storm as the forked lightening lit up different parts of the valley. Very spectacular. The table tennis was enjoyed by everyone.

Within near driving distance, there are the beautiful bastide towns of - Castlenau-de-Montmiral, Najac, Puycelci and Cordes-sur-Ciel, to name but a few. The nearby city of Albi is a must visit and be sure to make time to see the excellent Toulouse Lautrec Museum.

We canoed part of the Averyon river from St. Antonin-Nobel-Val. (Would recommend 'Natures Escapades' - excellent advice for beginners) Parts of the river are like glass as you travel past deep silent gorges and other parts have more rapids. This is a beginners course so it's not too scary. An unmissable experience.

There are markets in the surrounding areas almost every day of the week. As Gaillac is one of the oldest wine-growing regions of France there is no shortage of vineyards and caves. Our favourite was a ten minute walk away by a quiet track through a vineyard - Mas de Bicary. Well worth a visit.

So all in all we had a excellent holiday that suited everyone. There was plenty to do and see, in-between spending time at the pool and the table tennis leagues!
