Good fresh food and in the Leederville entertainment precinct. A good choice for a light meal.

We've eaten at various international Wagamamas, and always enjoy the consistent high quality.
We've visited the Subiaco branch a couple of times and on each occasion have been disappointed by the quality of the meals. The gyozas were overdone, yakitori skewers were tiny and dried out and the food was generally below par by the usual high Wagamama standards.

Another reviewer wrote that Wagamama's Subi is not like the London chains, and I agree. It's also not like the eastern states chains. Wagamama is very active on Twitter, and I'm always surprised to see people tweet about the great meals, low prices and prompt service they receive. That is, until I realise they're talking about the London chain or Sydney stores!

Wagamama's is not cheap with a noodle dish costing around $22. It's only good value when you have one of their two-for-one vouchers or use Wagamama points. The noodles are on par with food court food - they're nothing special and often quite greasy. There's much better restaurants around but sometimes you can't afford the wait.

One thing, though. We've found that the desserts at Wagamama have always been superb. The banana katsu, in particular, is delicious!!!
