Having read some of the comments on trip advisor I did try to change the hotel, but couldn't. On arrival we were pleasently surprised. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were spotless, they were cleaned every day and hoovered. my only complaint would be that the towels were not changed frequently enough. We had 4 changes in 2 weeks, the first change was after 5 days! The food was well presented if a a bit repitious. Breakfast was poor. Breakfast started at 7am.but the cooked station was never occupied by a chef before 7.30am. We only had omelets once, the next time would have been the day after we left. The bread was fresh every meal and we had fresh fish. We did not use the pool as the beds were very tightly packed around it but the beach is very close with sun beds and umberellas and the water is clear. All in all good holiday.

Room Tip: rooms near the pool are noisy but it does finish at 11pm so not too bad.

After leaving it to the last minute to book, we stumbled on the Bendis Beach Hotel & managed to get a very reasonable all inclusive week away.
Not having had a summer get away for over 6 years we were desperate for some Sun, good food, relaxation & a good few drinks.
Bendis ticket all the boxes & I was glad to see that most peoples reviews were spot on.
Good points;
Food - lovely choice & quality great.
Sun - average 35-40 degrees.
Clean - good maids, everyone busy.
Staff - friendly, happy & lots of them
Room - clean, new, spacious, TV.
Beach - 1 min walk, beds & drinks
Drink - very good local beer
Wifi - everywhere!
Food - yes I've said it again!
Location - quiet, 10 min bus ride from market village by marina, good for shops, a few bars, food. Not full of British bars & cooked breakfasts!
Guests - a good mix of nationalities
Resort - well kept, loads to do.
Mini disco - peoples kids loved it.
Spa - like a 4-5 star spa in uk, Really (do a deal though as it's run by a 2nd business & they start high)

Not so good points (not bad)
Rooms - not very sound proof so if you have a people who get up early & forget that the rest of the world doesn't get up when they do, you will here banging & clattering.
Rooms - everything was white, I liked it but the wife thought it was a bit clinical.
Entertainment - basic, funny, more for the kids really.
Main Disco - shut for some reason?
Overall it's never going to be perfect but for what we needed it was not far off, thanks for a great holiday! I would recommend anyone to go & enjoy.

We went at the end of June for 1 week on a late deal with Thomsons. Our criteria for the holiday was somewhere quiet, all inclusive - where we would enjoy the food, near to the beach, and the resort area close to the accomodation as my partner is disabled. On their website the Bendis Beach ticked all the boxes and infact when we got there we had absolutely no complaints!

Firstly the flight and transfer, from Glasgow and if you can definately upgrade to a seat with more space, this makes a really big difference, transfer in a huge air conditioned bus, which was very empty and comfortable, dropped us off at the entrance to the resort, you have to walk a little distance to reception, where there was sandwiches and fruit waiting with a very pleasant helpful receptionist.

The rooms, clean and crisp, maid service every day, water replenished in the fridge and an abundance of toiletries. No plug in the bath??? Plenty of sockets and each room has a small but pleasant balcony with a drying line if you need it. Entrance to your room is by electronic card and you are only given 1, wifi signal is good in the rooms, and by the pool. There is a safe in the wardrobe which you can arrange to use with reception for a fee. Theres plenty of space for two in the room and plenty of wardrobe / drawer space.

Dining, theres a fabulous choice of food at each mealtime, my partner is very difficult but had absolutely no problem, breakfast had the usual cold buffet, and boiled, scrambled eggs, sausages, an abundance of fresh bread and salad. Lunch usually had something on the grill with nan breads freshly cooked in the grill oven, inside was a large choice of meat and vegetarian dishes. Soup, salads and deserts. Same at dinner time. A huge selection of salad was available at all meal times, with the freshest veg ive ever tasted, lovely selection of dressings too. We never felt the need to eat elsewhere as we have before on all inclusive deals! The waiters and chefs worked constantly to ensure each dish was replenished, and any tables cleared as soon as possible. There are tip boxes in the dining and bar area.

The pool, bar area, spotlessly clean and again staff worked constantly to maintain that. Sun loungers get booked early as does the supply of towels. This area during the day is fairly quiet, and pleasant for relaxing and reading. Loved it, plenty of parasols available if you needed shade and the waiters only too helpful, always happy and smiling! Alcohol and beer of Turkish origin is with the all inclusive deal, International brands are menu'ed but extremely expensive, often exchange rate is worked, pounds - euros- lire which can hike prices, in most towns you can pay with either euros or lire.

The beach is actually 50 metres away down a little street, has beautiful views of Kos, and all the boats traveling to and from the local marina, it has sharp shingle sand which is quite sore on your feet so take flipflops you can walk right into the water with. Plently of parasols and loungers available, and an little cabin for allinclusive customers to get soft drinks.

The luxury of the spa is well hidden by a white concrete facade, take time to go down, its fabulous, you can use the jaccuzi and sauna free, but do really have to treat yurself to a hamman bath at the beginning of your holiday, its a fabulous experience. My partner had a medical massage every day and although costly he really felt the benefit. The exfoliation of the hamman bath does really help the tanning process, I also booked a hot stones massage towards the end of the week, well worth it! You really cant got to Turkey without experiencing this!

Excurisions, we went on a day boat trip up the coast, lunch included, 8 stops to swim, and one to see 2 camels and a few stalls at camel bay, great experience and if we go back we will do this again, the scenery is rugged, the water beautiful, and the staff very pleasant. We also joined them for an evening boat trip / bbq to one of the islands, lack of lighting and rickety peers made this one we probably wouldnt do again, unless we were much younger! But still fun, navigating back into the harbour by torchlight was to say the least a little bit hairy! We also did the trip to Kos, unfortunately most of the attractions were closed except an abundance of cocktail bars on the harbour! Still another duty free event! It you are going, get reception to book you a taxi into Turgetreis and book it yourself, there are many travel agents who are much cheaper plus you can have a wander round the harbour, see the market and have lunch at real turkish restaurants.

Would we go back...definately, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and for a weeks R&R, a fabulous place to go that dosent need a long haul flight to guarantee sunshine! God food, pleasant staff who arent overbearing and clean accomodation.

Room Tip: email in advance if you require a ground floor room, all reception staff speak very good english

We wanted to get away and put our feet up for a week, my partner and i are in our 40s and we had our 17 and 13 year old boys with us. The staff couldnt have been more friendly and helpful than they were. Bar staff, dining staff also the hotels animation team and own trip reps (ask for the boatman at the bar for great deals on excursions and fantastic restaurants if you want to eat out ).
The hotel, pool and dining room were very clean and the food selection was superb if you dont want traditional English food ( its not Blackpool !! ) We loved and tried 99 % of the dishes which were always fresh and very enjoyable..the games around and in the pool area kept the kids very active and even us at times..the animations in the evening were of a good standard and very humorous and the team did a great job with the mixture of nationalities they had to translate to.
It would have been nice for the kids to have had more English people their age to interact with( less than 10% English ) and having to put towels out early on the sunbeds to reserve them was quite annoying but that was the only slight downside.( except the bad manners of some other nationalities to staff )
We would highly recommend this hotel for families of all ages and would like to thank all of the staff for making our holiday as fantastic as it was.. hope to be back one day soon.

We returned from this hotel after 12 days in there and it was our 7th and best holiday. We had very nice room, however, we had room for 3 peoples, but we were 2. Very nice bathroom, maded in Arabian Style, and very big shower. But there are no doors in shower, so watch out for water! Room was always cleaned. Reception is big, nice building. Hotel is really nice, but beware of rooms starting numbers 9, 6 and 7, there is restaurant and amphitheater. Food was excellent, staff really nice, there is just one person, usually in bar by the pool, who was not so friendly. His hair is longer ;-) . There are three persons, who were our friends. Adem, he is waiter, and you can see him usually in evening. Aydin, boat trip seller, is very friendly, too. Last guy, Ibrahim, is usually in Spa Center. Something in Spa is for free, but I forgot, what. Beach is very nice, there are many sunbeds and umbrellas, and they are for free. There is a Pool Bar, but there is no alcohol. I don´t drink alcohol, so it was no problem for me. Sea is very bright and nice. But sometimes, there are big waves! At beach you can get Greek signal, so calling to Europe could be cheaper :-) . There are very expensive water sports on the beach, Parasailing for one person for 10 minutes = 50 Euro. Many tourists here are from Turkey, Poland and Czech Republic. Really best holiday!

Room Tip: Take a room near reception, starting with number 800, 100 or 200 if you want some quiet place. If y...
