I've recently booked 3 nights for my parents at Rem's Pension and they had a blast. Everything was great from the communication with the manager to the whole experience, food, people, entire atmosphere. They even went the extra mile and ordered a cake for my father's birthday and sang to him :) What more can one ask for? The location is perfect and plenty to do and experience. Totally recommend this place for a great stay.

We were there last week, on 19.09.
It is really a great place. The room was clean, warm, there was enough space for our baggage.
We arrived late,.the restaurant ends at 20:00h but ladies there were extremely kind and made our dinner at 21:00h and they staid later than they should be. Also, everything was with a great price.

We've been there 2 night: nice and clean rooms, good prices. The staff and the owner are really helfull: we asked to change one room and they did everything to satisfy us. The food is something special: everything is homemade, all products are from Rasnov, milk and cheese are just taken and made from cows (no factories but farms) ... And you can taste the special flavor. We liked it so much that we went back to Rasnov for dinner the day after, even if we were in Brasov. Hotel is just on the way to "Cetatea"....

Great place not very far from Rasnov Fortress, warm people, nice & clean rooms, great Romanian food. Fair prices.
What's more?
I don't know. Coming here from almost 7 years: spring, summer or winter...
And I will come again soon.
PS A smart & huge dog, his name... Rolex. It's not a joke, he is the watch-dog!

Room Tip: Rooms from up are quieter.

We arrived in Bucharest, Romania and made our way, backpacking. The trains were easy to figure out and we had a fabulous trip! One of our favorite stays was Rems Pensiunea in Rasnov. We stayed two nights and it was the perfect place to rest up. All staff were very friendly and always happy to answer our many questions. Very few Romanians know English, so it was great to have a wonderful conversation with the locals. The food prepared for us was the best and even got served homemade jam! Our little room was so inviting and quaint. Comfortable beds and very clean! We would recommend this stay. We wanted to see the Rasnov Fortress and Draculas Castle and there was also a cave to tour, in area, as well. We were into hiking the road that went up the hill from Rems to the Fortress. (Be careful when cars do go by, as they drive very fast and are not respectful of people--luckily it wasn't too busy of a road ) The caves were not the draw, but that Fortress was amazing! For those that dont want to walk up the hill to the fortress, once you make the parking lot, there is a little train. Our host at Rems arranged a taxi for our ride into Bran, Romania to tour Dracula's Castle. Its not far from Rasnov and taxis are about $8 american less than minutes. The grounds and surrounding area and the market in Bran were so awesome. Taxis are not an issue once you get out of Bucharest, but the bigger cities will overcharge you if they think they can get away with it. I did read the review on Rems i.e. "Lack of Respect." Too bad, because we could not imagine anybody at this stay that would even remotely give a bad vibe! These folks at Rems were so awesome! Its a small outfit and they dont deserve a bed cred.

Room Tip: We liked being on the higher level. We had a door that opened and it was very chalet feeling.
