This cottage is right in the centre of the beautiful village of Hutton le Hole. The cottage is well equipped and has a lovely garden. If you are tall, then you need to watch your head upstairs! The village is a great location for exploring North Yorkshire - it's about 50 minutes to Whitby or Scarborough and about the same to York. There are lots of winding roads across the moors to explore. The village itself is a great place to spend the day visiting the Ryedale Folk Museum and craft shops, then having a meal in the Crown Inn, which is just across the green from the house.
Just coming to the end of a fabulous four daybreak. Village is picture postcard pretty and a great base for exploring the yorkshire Wales. Cottage has everything you need and is very homely, we all slept very well on the really comfortable beds. The icing on the cake is the huge garden out back
with a lovely alfresco dining area complete with bbq. Plus plenty of lawned area along with trampoline for the kids.
This is one of the most comfortable and well equipped cottages that we have stayed in. The outlook is straight onto the village green with a stream running through it and the pub oppopsite. We were a group of walkers but this would be ideal for families with young ones with a big back garden and trampoline. Perfect !
