Wonderful place to stay. Only downside would be having to walk on the road for a short distance, before you reach a path to enable a walk into the village. Peaceful setting, with lovely view over open fields.

“Brilliant retreat for couples with dogs!”

The home owners gave great directions to the Dragonfly barn. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by Jane. She was ever so lovely and helpful with getting us up to speed with the local attractions and walks. It was a very peaceful bungalow nicely decorated with all the comforts of home! The enclosed garden was great for the dogs, although they could see over part in the front, which peaked their curiosity. Unfortunately the weather wasn't fully co-operative for us to take advantage of the garden table & chairs. The highlight was the powerful shower as we didn't take advantage of the wood burning stove. We accidentally left something behind & the owners were great again sending it back to us! Would definitely recommend as well as look for an opportunity to return!

We had our honeymoon here at Dragonfly Barn. I was 4 months pregnant at the time plus we wanted to take our two dogs with us. (One Springer spaniel and one sprocket, not exactly quiet or small dogs).
The owners came out to meet us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour and even gave us a bottle to celebrate. The log burner was great and kindle was free. Perfect as it was quiet cold in November.
This place was perfect for us, the dogs had plenty of room and the garden was all fenced in so they couldn't escape.
We found the location great, close to all the lovely sea side towns which we visited with our dogs. Both were welcome where ever we went and loved running about on the beach.

“Lovely stay, would go back again!”

I went to this cottage with my girlfriend and 7 month puppy for a small getaway before her birthday.

We loved the cottage, it was only a short walk to the sea front and town center and a 10-15 minute drive to both Walcott and Cromer.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful.

The shower was amazing, very powerful! We also managed to get the log burner going which sets a very romantic scene.

The only issue we found was the amount of spiders that made their way into the cottage - but I assume that is because the cottage is situated in the countryside.

All in all though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back!

“Worth a return trip - just need to find the time.”

Fairly quiet location with views across the fields. Ideal location for a relaxed break away from everyday stresses. Walking distance to the beach but would suggest a push bike as the better option as this also opens up the Vernon Arms, 3 miles down the road from Mundesley, as a possible very good lunch venue (worth the bill). Well appointed, functional accommodation - no bath but I liked the powerful shower.
