We have stayed at the Lilypad on several occasions now...and will be back.

The new owners have made some great improvements already..there is private parking and both the front and rear gardens are totally secure for dogs..both gardens are lovely and are cottage garden style..the back is a sun trap and opens out from the bedroom

The views are stunning from every window and everywhere is sooooooo dog friendly

Lilypad is small but cosy and has everything you need.

Sea Palling beach in particular is a favourite of our boys(dogs) and Bacton

The owners are so lovely and friendly yet leave you alone to enjoy your holiday...I would highly recommend their free range eggs too

Thankyou for a lovely stay

Could have done with a good clean, including cobwebs & old bits of food on the floor. Hot water not working properly. Sofa old and almost collapsed. Felt I had to wash all cutlery/crockery before use.
On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and the garden, although very untidy, was totally secure for our 2 little dogs.

“Excellent dog friendly couple accommodation”
Reviewed 20 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Just returned from a lovely week at the Lilypad. The weather was chilly but the accommodation was nice and snug. The Lilypad was perfect for our needs. We visited the coast and the National Trust properties. Go and see a show at the small theatre on Cromer's Pier : a delight. We will definitely return to this accommodation. Owners live on site - thank you for the milk & biscuits. Previous grumbles have now been sorted. The bed is very comfortable and the towels are new. Thank you for a very pleasant week.

“Excellent dog friendly cottage”

Travelling were myself, partner and our 2 dogs Misti a GSD sweet natured girl 21 months and Kenny our old xbreed rescue boy aged 11yrs.When we arrived at The Lily pad Jane and Steve just happened to be outside and they greeted us warmly they were lovely, once inside the cottage, it was warm and welcoming,
there is everything that you could need, the bed was so comfortable that we struggled to get out of it every morning, the cottage was also very clean. The enclosed gardens were great for the dogs, though the cottage was attached to the main house Jane and Steve were not at all intrusive and a sense of privacy was always felt.
Mundersley is a lovely quaint village, there is so much to do in the area especially if you like walking there are 2 beaches about 5 minutes by car ( if you're really fit ) you could walk it in about 15 minutes and the sand is lovely and soft the dogs loved it even the old boy went running in the sea, even though they had to be scrubbed down every day, would also highly recommend Felbrigg Hall the house was closed but the grounds are fantastic with the wood, the heath land and the lake it can take a couple of days to get round it all, and of course it's not far from Cromer and Sherringham.
To round off our week we enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at The Ship where the Landlord, staff and locals were all very nice and welcoming.
All in all a brilliant week and the weather was quite kind to us as well , we shall definitely be back that's if Jane and Steve will have us :-)
If I had 1 request it would have been to have a hose pipe attached to the tap on the wall, this would have made it so much easier to wash the dogs especially as my 2 found every deep muddy puddle possible lol
will definitely recommend *****

“Doggy den hideaway”
Reviewed 22 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Our first visit since Jane and Steve have taken over did not disappoint. We noticed a few improvements....nice signs for Lily Pad and Dragonfly Barn, fences and gates newly painted. The biscuits on the welcome tray and milk in the fridge lovely touches and much appreciated. Front and back garden of Lily pad have been cleared and tidied, both of our dogs just loved sniffing about! We had a great long weekend stay and enjoyed walks on the beaches at Mundesley and Cart Gap as well as sampling the coffee and cake at Small Sticks cafe. We will definitely be back!
