Wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle to try something different in our 4th trip to Roatan. My husband and I found it. We spent almost 3 weeks in Noel Manor. Our room was in the upper level facing the ocean. Great patio to enjoy the views and sounds of the ocean and watch an occasional cruise ship passing by. Room was a good size and nicely decorated. Maid service every 3 days. Bed absolutely amazing. A mini fridge, coffee maker provided, television, wi-fi, and lastly daily breakfast. John and Barbara couldn’t have been nicer, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was a real treat. John has mad breakfast skills as well Barbara .
It is situated on the iron shore only 10 minutes walk from West Bay Beach and restaurants.
Would definitely go back.
If we come back to Roatan which we would definitely love to do, we would stay here again. The house is beautiful, clean and just as it looks like at the pictures, the view is incredible. Bárbara and John are more than hosts they would guide you and help you with anything you need and even more. Breakfasts are great and the distance from the beach is totally acceptable. The rooms are equipped with a mini refrigerator, smart tv with internet and Netflix. Excellent place to relax and very safe as well, highly recommended
First, we were placed in the sunrise room, which was great. This 2nd floor room is very nicely adorned in teal and white, with a beautiful glass swordfish sculpture. This room is only for two. It features tile flooring throughout and a king size bed. However, the view of the ocean and especially the sunrise and sunset were stunning. There is a TV, but really it’s not going to be used very much. There is also AC, which if your in the room between 9A and 5P is useful. Otherwise, the ocean breeze is all you need.
Second, your going to love the owners! Barbara is full of energy and knowledge of the island. John is more laid back and is a musician. He was also our breakfast chef and we thoroughly enjoyed each breakfast (especially the fruit) and the conversation each morning. However, one morning, Barbara fixed breakfast burritos, which were fantastic and you have to get some before you leave. Now, do not hesitate to ask Barbara anything about the island. She can make any arrangements you might require. I can truthfully say that they did everything within reason and perhaps, beyond reasonable to make our stay exceptional!
Advice, Listen to Barbara and John. They recommended that we rent a car, which we did not do. We spent as much on taxi’s as anything on our trip, even after they got us great deals on many of the trips we took. It adds up quicker than you will imagine. This is because you are 8 to 10 minutes by foot from West Bay. However, this also means IT IS QUIET!
To sum it up, the title says it all. “WE WILL BE BACK!” The wife and I go to Roatan at least once a year. John and Barbara are awesome, the room was great, breakfast included, and likely the quietest place on the island. You’ll be hard pressed to find better anything and I believe you won’t for the price.
My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at Noel Manor. Our room was very clean and the the neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet (only the sound of the waves). On top of that, Barbara and John were exceptional hosts, very friendly and accommodating. They served us awesome breakfasts too! I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to get a restful vacay.
First trip to Roatan and we moved around on the island a lot and stayed at different places. We were a little hesitant at first if we were going to stay at Noel Manor for more then one time. It ended up being an 8 minutes walk from the best beach in West Bay, with the variety of having an AMAZING view on the ocean front, with breeze and some quiet from the more crowded touristic area. Very wonderful hosts, John and Barbara were the best and we decided to stay at Noel Manor for the rest of our stay (5 nights) !!!
They were so friendly, accommodating and fun to be around. We even played some music with them :)
