I spent a night at Lucni Bouda together with friends on a hiking trip.
This is a huge hotel, visible from far away that looks a bit old as you come closer.
You enter the place through a big empty room and go up the stairs. The reception people got us quickly checked in. You need to chip to get onto your floor, but the room key is still a classic one.
Rooms are spacious, yet basic. Same goes for the bathroom.
The breakfast is very good. The offer is varied and quality stuff.
I will certainly come back here on my next hike in the area.

Fatal service, You wait for a long time to order anything. The waiters were mean - they told us to go away if we did not like it. It looks beautiful from a distance, but I do not even recommend staying here.

After hiking up to the peak at Snezka and across the ridge, this is a very welcome oasis. Their Parohac 11 degree lager and 12 degree amber beers are delicious. They change their soup selection often, but when they have their cabbage soup (zelnacka), I highly recommend it.

A large group of Czech and Norwegian colleagues met for a closing seminar related to the EEA grants. Unfortunately in fog for two days, but from pictures it looks nice outside. Indoor the rooms are traditional and clean, and the food given very good and tasty from the Czech cuisine. They also have their own brewery and endemic flower species outside the door.

We hiked to Sněžka and on our way back stopped to have lunch at Luční Bouda. What a great mountain building to enjoy lunch. If you want you can even spend the night.

The food was typical Czech cuisine along with the beer. This means it was great. The best part was the fresh baked rohlíki, they are huge.

If you’re in the area make sure to stop in for a meal or better yet spend the night.
