“Beautiful well equipped house in a lovely village.”
Reviewed 20 December 2015 for a stay in July 2015

A modern, bright house with everything you could possibly need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Rooms are spacious and clean.
The garden is charming and ideal for alfresco dining or for soaking up the sun.
The village has a well stocked supermarket together with a patisserie and restaurants.
There are lovely walks around the village and plenty of interesting places to visit locally including the beach.

An amazing visit...house was clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed...great garden for wining and dining and lots of great places to visit in the area...close to sea and wonderful rural French countryside. Plenty to do in the area...We loved it....and would definitely be happy to go back...

“Fantastic, spacious, well thought out place to stay!”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We are a family of 4 (2 small children) who stayed in the May school holidays. The house was outstanding, everything had been thought of. Loved the outside spaces (there are many), it was very relaxing and the children loved it, especially walking with daddy every morning to get fresh croissants for breakfast. This was out first time in Portiragnes but we have fallen in love with this village and the area and will be back again very soon, in fact I'm just trying to book now but unfortunately this lovely house isn't available!!

“This place is perfect”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We have just returned from another holiday at this property and yet again we are amazed at what it offers, especially for the price which is incredibly reasonable. There is everything you could need-lovely property furnished to a high standard and grounds that are made up of lots of different areas where you can sit and have a meal at different times of the day. There is even a table tennis table should you feel energetic as well as bikes to enjoy cycling along the canal side. The owners have thought of everything. it is set in a lovely quiet area of the village but convenient for the local spa. There are houses close by but we hardly ever see anyone when we are there but when we do they are just so friendly and polite. It is a great place to have a relaxing holiday and what is really special is that just a couple of miles away is the most perfect sandy beach. We love it.

“Ideal base to stay in the local area”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We know the area very well, having stayed at the campsite at the nearby beach for many years. We had never stayed in Portiragnes itself until this year. Villa St Felix has everything you need for a home from home stay. The house is very spacious and light and airy. The only disappointment was that the location in the village meant that it was a fairly noisy road at times if we're sitting in the garden and sometimes at night. Within walking distance from the house is a very well stocked Spar and also a cafe where there is free Wi-Fi. All in all, an ideal base to stay in the local area.

Management Response
10 Aug 2014
Thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate our guests taking the time to give a review and are pleased that the house was as you say “home from home” with good local facilities and that you would be happy to recommend us to a friend . Portiragnes is a working village and we occupy the house ourselves for many weeks a year, but have not experienced that the road was noisy and this is supported by other reviewers who have said “it is set in a lovely quiet area of the village” and “an oasis of relative quiet”.
