“Lovely cottage in pretty village close to Whitby”
Reviewed 20 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The cottage was clean and well equipped. It is small and was perhaps a little cramped for our party of four adults plus a lively toddler. However, it is perfect for a family with a couple of children. It has a wonderful garden at the back with a patch of grass and a patio for eating breakfast in the sun. It is ideally located for exploring the North Yorkshire coast and Whitby is a short walk away along a scenic route that runs parallel to the railway tracks. There is no parking outside the cottage but we always managed to find a spot further up the hill. There is no wifi and we didn't have a phone signal, which made communication difficult when we were in the house. However, these are minor points and overall we had a very enjoyablestay at the cottage.

Super cottage. Whitby half hour walk brilliant. Lovely walk too at side of Esk.
Pub near by has lovely food, as does the butchers across the road.
The cottage has a lovely enclosed garden, great for Bramble to be safe. A real sun trap too.
We'll be back !!!!!
