“Cosy cottage”
Reviewed 29 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We stayed at Babingtons cottage for four nights in June
Very comfortable and cosy with lots of room to spread around.Plenty of kitchen wear and dishes all of which were in good order.
The cottage was very clean and had a large front entranceway which was great as we had lots of wet clothing, footwear etc due to the rain which seemed to follow us everywhere.
The towels were large and fluffy and the perennial garden was beautifully maintained.
We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends
We were a party of four adults and three young children

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay at Babingtons Cottage and the space to spread around. The garden is lovely and it is a shame you you did not have the dry weather to make the most of it. Thanks for your reivew.

“Perfect base to explore the Borders”
Reviewed 8 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

This lovely cottage in Coldstream was the perfect base for our short family stay to visit some of the special places of interest. Lots of local information available and plenty to keep all ages entertained. The owner was particularly helpful and being able to have meals prepared for us in advance was a great bonus. We had a very enjoyable three days.

“Roomy, yet cosy - comfortable and relaxing”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Babingtons cottage is so very comfortable, roomy and relaxing, and the ability to hire it in its full splendour or just part of it is very convenient. I enjoyed waking up to the stunning views over the Cheviot Hills, taking breakfast in the garden before going off to explore the area. There's so much to see, visit and do in and around the vicinity - from arts and crafts in Coldstream, walks along the lovely River Tweed including fishing, the horse races, to Heritage manor houses. However, what made the visit so pleasurable was most definitely staying at the cottage. I highly recommend it and would definitely return!

“A lovely house in a beautiful area”
Reviewed 15 August 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This is a really lovely cottage, very roomy and comfortable and in excellent order in all respects. And it is situated in lovely, peaceful surroundings. In fact the tranquillity in the widest sense of the word is a major attraction. For those who enjoy open air activities, from cross-country walking to fishing, there are plenty of opportunities. For me, however, it was all the interesting historical places to visit, no further than an hour's drive away, that combined with this excellent "base" made this a truly lovely holiday. Thoroughly recommended.

“Sensational rental accomadation”
Reviewed 9 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Seven adults had a perfect stay at Babington Cottage. One could not ask for anything better...very well equipped with all mod cons and even hair dryers for girls. Log store full with great fire. Wifi worked well. The kitchen was so well equipped one did not need a chef! Instructions were plentiful and directions excellent.
Perfectly located for visiting all the castles and golf courses.
One could not ask for a better place to stay....Full marks for excellence.
