The meal was quite good although the salad bar was very poor. Friendly staff. A renovation is needed.

Great restaurant, four of us shared two combo platters, loved absolutely everything: Fish, chips, shrimp, scallops, salad bar....

I liked the salad bar and the perch fish platter. The Terrace area was nice and covered, looked like a fisherman's den. Food was really nice and staff helpful. Majority people were eating fish and chips

This was our second time here. Always a good meal and good value for money. The only minus points are the restaurant is pretty dated and gives off a musty smell, probably from the old floorboards and furniture. The waitresses are all very sweet but businesslike.

The Food is uniformly good and value for money. The salad bar is a bonus with most meals but nothing to rave about. My only grouse with their fried perch is it's not crispy enough, although it's not oily or greasy. The fisherman's decor with the nets and the mermaid is so kitsch and boring.

Next time I am trying the Cove room at the Erin beach Hotel, although I have heard that is equally dated.

We have been 4 or 5 times now and as the time goes on the food is not getting any
better just stays the same. The crab cakes are very nice. The fish and chips was always good but this time a bit greasy. The place is always packed all weekend long. The line goes quickly so for the view if you happen to sit on the patio is well worth the wait. We keep going back.
