“Very cosy and great value for money”
Reviewed 2 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The chalet has a double bed and two single beds and easily fitted us in with our kids aged 8, 6 and 2 (we brought our own bed for the 2 year old). It is small but that is what we wanted with kids and the outside area at the back was safe for them to play in. We went out in the day and when we got back it was easy and quick to heat (we used £28 worth of electricity which is taken out of the £50 deposit). For an extra £20 you get the beds made up and towels so that is great value for money. There is also a washing machine. Stevie is very nice and helpful. When we went it was very cold and so the Holiday Park was very quiet. However in summer I think it would be nice with the pub and the pool and there is an adventure playground for kids. There was lots to see and do nearby (all within an hour in the car). Nearby is Earnley Beasts Birds and Butterflies - it had poor reviews on Tripadvisor but we decided to go anyway as it was so near (5 minutes away by car). It was ok but very poor value at £28 and other things are much better - for example Longdown Activity Farm (50 minutes away) was £30 and much much better - the kids really enjoyed it. We would also recommend a trip to the Isle of Wight on the hovercraft, Paulton's Park (if you can bear to part with £116 for two adults and two kids over a metre, but it also contains Peppa Pig World and so the younger ones love it), Marwell Zoo and Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium.

Visiting my son in nearby Chichester and wanted somewhere we could bring the dog, wasn't expecting much for the reasonable price paid, but was pleasantly surprised. A warm welcome by Stevie. Close to the sea and good walks for the dog. Hope to come and stay again.

This is a nice chalet with a beach theme throughout. All on one level too so safe for young children.
The little extras needed to make your stay comfy are all there - blackout blinds behind the decorative curtains, embroidered bed linen, kitchen towel already there and a hairdryer / iron boxed in the cupboard.
The bedroom TV also has an integral dvd player and there is free wifi.
The chalet was clean and welcoming on arrival and the owner meets you to check you in / out.
There is a £50.00 cash deposit on arrival for breakages which we unfortunately lost as our autistic son broke a valuable item.
Electricity costs are deducted from the deposit at the end of your stay by a before / after meter reading.
This chalet has a private garden which is safely enclosed for children. The garden has sun loungers / table and chairs and lovely floral hanging baskets. The view from the garden fence is a green and lovely open space.
Medmerry Holiday village park was clean and had a children's play area and a lovely large open air heated swimming pool with loungers and a spa bath.
A quiet park but really lovely in the sunshine.
Recommended.

“Will happily return for another short break”

Pleasantly surprised as we weren't expecting too much as the price was excellent ie inexpensive. The owner met us personally and she was very friendly and efficient. We had our dogs with us so the rules were reinforced but in a nice way. The onsite pub was open evenings only and the food was typical pub grub but good enough and sensibly priced. A 7-8 minute walk on to the dog friendly beach was truly the highlight of our break. We will be back.

Certainly lived up to all expectations we had . Very clean and very well furnished, the owner has thought of everything. So well equipped, even two TVs!! Very good location about 10 minutes stroll to the beach. Also a fantastic pool and sunbathing area with lifeguard at all times. Short drive to Chichester, about 8 miles. Absolutely excellent, would definitely recommend.
