Wow! That's the best way to start this review.
What a quirky place to stay!
At first we couldn't find the Hut, but Tom came to the rescue!
The setting is perfect, overlooking the beautiful hills. As for the hut itself, it has been crafted with care and has been finished to a high standard.
The bed was the most comfy bed I've been in compared to an expensive hotel room!
Heating the hut, you have a miniature log burner which is very efficient! And give you the feeling of being on an adventure.
The hut even has a fully equipped bathroom, shower, sink and toilet. This is real glamping!
Breakfast the next morning was brought to us by Tom, in a wicker hamper. Fruit, yoghurt, cereals and fresh baked muffins, croissants and bread. This was served to us in the seating area next to the hut, again with a log burner to keep us toasty.
I'd recommend this experience to anyone! It will stick in my mind for many years to come!
Thanks Tom for being a great host.

Cosy, warm and views that are massive. Peacefull and relaxing. Friendly hosts, friendly Chickens. A must visit place.
What a fantastically special place...wonderful hosts, gorgeous views & cosy hut. All the little touches in the shepherds hut make this a truly amazing place to stay...from the homemade butterfly cakes on arrival to the beautiful, sumptuous breakfast it was all brilliant. The only problem was we had our 3 boys with us! We will return when it's just the two of us to make full use of the peace & the tranquil surroundings.
Thanks very much Tracy & Ian for a great night away from the hustle & bustle.
Had a lovely 4 night stay in the Shepherds Hut.
My husband was unsure when we first arrived due to its size, but it soon grew on him and we both loved it.
The owner is very nice and friendly. She cooks muffins and bread etc fresh for breakfast which always tasted amazing.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.... Is quiet and beautiful.
Beautiful shepherds hut - very comfortable bed, log burner, lovely views and amazing breakfasts. Explored the beautiful coast of Northumberland.
