Had breakfast at Shanklin this morning. It was outstanding! I ordered the Pork Benny, it was presented beautifully and utterly delicious. I also ordered the espresso milkshake as opposed to my normal iced latte. Go early as it’s a small venue and became quite busy.

$32 for some eggs with sides and A coffee. Poached eggs where hard, toast not crip and very difficult to cut.
Coffee was nice, although served a cup when I asked for a mug.
Woman at the till acted like she was doing me a favour. Wouldn't return.

I happened upon this lovely spot just down from my Air bnb as my room was not ready yet and I had just flown in from Vancouver. Initially I just wanted a tea (4.5) but looked over the menu several times. Eventually I settled on the Portobella mushroom (23) Outstanding! The mushrooms (I had 3) were crusted with panko and zaatar spice, stacked over romesco sauce and steamed spinach, topped with grilled pepper and halloumi and two poached eggs. I also opted for a side of avocado (6.50). For me this was enough for 2 meals. I could taste each element which is paramount for me when I am out paying for a meal as a chef. I highly recommend this cozy little find.

Great coffee and and food, service quick and efficient. The premises are in a select shopping area on Tooronga Road, adequate parking is available in Torronga Road and side streets.

We ordered the specials of the day, Benny supreme? With pulled pork and the roast chicken salad. Presentation perfect, the Benny a very rich and tasty treat, highly recommended.
