Based on a 50’s style American diner. Very nostalgic feel. Excellent service, waiters are alert, attentive but not intrusive and are very pleasant and friendly. This restaurant is a treat for the whole family, from the car that has a built in tv screen which makes children feel like they at a “drive in cinema” to racing car games to entertain the teenagers to child minders in the play area. There is something for everyone. My elderly father was enthralled, he browsed the vintage cars and then stood examining the jukebox reminding him of the days when he courted my mom. The decadent milkshakes are huge and definitely only recommended for teenagers or adults, but what a treat they are deliciously incredible. The food is typical diner style, huge portions but very well cooked. Burgers were large, juicy and tender. If you enjoy a good steak, then steaks and ribs here are excellent. They easily accommodate large groups of people. If you are on holiday in Jhb. This is a must try venue. Suggest booking though because they are exceptionally popular and busy especially on weekends.

Great food, great service. Interesting, well thought out decor. Loved the selection of foods, presentation inviting. Definitely will be back. Wish they had one in Cape Town.

Still serves plastic straws. When we asked the manager why he said changing straws does not address the plastic issue so why bother. Food and milk and water comes in plastic so straws are not the problem. Cannot believe there are people who still think like this. Surely ever not counts. We left without ordering.

This was a first time visit on our trip from Cape Town and took family there on request of my grandson. First impressions are great as you step into this very clever and imaginative American style restaurant. A huge play area for the children and various themed sitting areas. The menu is equally impressive and extensive making it difficult to make our choices as there were so many interesting possibilities. We all chose different menu items to give us choice on the table. Service was friendly and while it did take a while for the meals to arrive it was not so long as to be excessive. The food was really nice and no complaints from anyone which is a rare event with my family 😀. We will certainly be visiting again next time we are in town. I see some bad reviews with amazement as our experience was excellent
