Location:
This resort/homestay is about 7 km from the town. It is on the way to cochin/Aluva.
Also this home stay is situated around 4 km from attakud water falls, which you can go as a trek.
The main road b/w attukud water fall and the homestay is very pleasant and captures the experience of munnar with wonderful scenaries.
Accessibility:
You can reach the resort by either boarding a bus in Munnar(which costs around 8Rs-15Rs only per head) or by Auto(costs b/w 120Rs-150Rs). The way to the resort itself is very beautiful surrounded by lush green tea estates with dew and mountains in the background.
The resort is about 500meters from the main road. This 500mtrs is really steep and if you are driving your own vehicle, then it is quite difficult and scary. You can call the reception and they will help you drive that path. If you are not going by your own vehicle just like me , then the management are more than welcoming to come to the main road and drive you down that steep path with their own vehicle, which itself is like a adventurous road drive. The management were always ready to drive me to and from the main road. You just need to call them.

The Homestay and staying experience:
the homestay is surrounded by lush green. The room was very clean, and the bathroom too cleaned properly and looked new. There was soap and shampoo dispenser filled with contents and hot water available 24x7(you just need to drain out some cold water in the beginning). While the cold water tap seemed to dispense mud color water, we didnt use that as the hot water was required due to the cold temperature and this water was clean.
The bed lenin was washed and cleaned well. the TV too was working well with many regional channels available.
There are a couple of swings too available and a tree house put up. But be careful with the treehouse as the wood has got soft due to persistant moisture.
there are some ducks and pheasants being bred, which gives you a feel of a remote village.
Food:
The breakfast being complementary, was sufficient(don't expect a wide spread buffet). They served a south indian dish(one day idly and dosa on another day), along with bread, butter and jam.
Also there was french fries or pakoda served along with coffee/tea.
The dinner/lunch menu is provided, but the cost of each order is quite costly

Management:
The management was very welcoming and always ready to drop you at the top or pick you from there at any time.

Summary:
Positives:
1)good stay experience
2)hot water available almost always
3)clean and tidy
4)welcoming management

Cons:
1)The path to the homestay is very steep. if you have your own vehicle, it is better to call the management and tell them to help drive the vehicle. If you don't have a vehicle then they drive you to the hotel and you can experience an adventurous ride(the manager drives with care and slowely so nothing to be scared of)
2)costly food menu for dinner/lunch

Not sure of the wifi as i didn't give it a try

A resort in the lap of nature and hence worth staying there! Rooms are good though limited variety available in terms of food and Breakfast also have a limited menu. Views are superb from the balcony and our stay was peaceful. This resort is not well accessible and normal cars can't be used. Resort has a Zip and road condition was pathetic from main road through the approach road to the resort. In case of emergency this can lead to problem.

Room Tip: Condition of Access road is pathetic

We got a steal from Goibibo so decided to stay at this hotel. Though, we weren't able to enjoy much as it was raining whole day/night & checked out early morning.
Pros -
1) Good value for money. Book this hotel, if you don't want to spent much on your stay & looking for a place for night stay with basic amenities.
2) In case, you are interested to soak in the plantations & want to relax rather than visiting local tea plantations of places this place is for you as you won't be able to able to visit any other places once you check-in in this hotel. 3) Service staff is very supportive specially the north-east guys.
Cons -
1) Location : Its an adventure in itself. If you are self driving, better park your vehicle on the road itself & ask the management for assistance.
2) The hotel owner was a little rude. It seems, he was least interested for the guests.
3) The washroom flush was not working even after we complained to the service staff.
4) The lightning in the room was very dim. The guests who are forced to stay inside the room, in case of continuous rains will face this issue.
5) On TV, local cable network is provided with very less channels.

Picturesque location, hospitable staff, the only noise that comes is from birds, falling rain and noise of insects. Hammocks, nice swing and a billiard table are value adds.
Mention also should be made of a nice wholesome breakfast. A la carte though slightly on the higher side is very tasty. will definitely recommend. Bathrooms can be better

Room Tip: expect a steep and rugged path way -this however is not really an issue since they provide a jeeo
