We have just spent a week on the beach in agonda staying at madhu beach huts after a hectic trip in north India.
The huts are simple but comfortable with great beds and fantastic views from the beachfront ones.

Madhus restaurant is a few steps away and serves delicious food and has very friendly staff. We ate there most of the time.

This end of the beach is quiet and relaxed, perfect for chilling!

The sea was a bit rough as there had been a storm and the big waves and strong currents might not suit everyone.

We loved it and will return as soon as we can!!!

Booked a sea facing hut a couple of weeks before our stay, after being let down by a different resort just down the beach.

Shekhar, the owner did not let us down at all. He arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport at 3am. The hut (Aquabay) was clean, spacious & comfortable. The resort is beautiful & it was a perfect first week in India.

We stayed here for twelve nights and it was the perfect place from which to enjoy Agonda beach and the surrounding area. The huts are basic and very comfortable; if you get one of the beachside huts then the view from the hut is unbeatable. Agonda beach is spacious, beautiful and still quiet compared to Palolem and Patnem. The restaurant next to the huts is very good - staff are excellent and there is a great variety of food. Stick to the curries and whatever fish is fresh that day and you can't go wrong. Highly recommended. A prefect honeymoon spot!

My family and I stayed a Madhu beach huts over christmas and new year and had an amazing time. The owner and staff we so kind and friendly, we were treated like royalty. The huts location is wonderful, directly on the beach which is heavenly, not crowded or noisy, with warm sea and lovely surf to play in. We tried a few other places to eat and drink in Agonda and around the area, but always came back to Madhu. Even though most of the other places were fabulous too, they did not top Madhu. The huts are spacious and comfortable with cotton sheets, towels and mosquito nets all provided. Shekar the owner is local and is a very attentive, kind man. The staff especially Raj, Ramu and the fantastic staff in the kitchen, the beautiful young woman who looked after our huts all fantastic. We checked out the other huts along the beach and can say Madhu offers the best location and service. For Christmas and New year the staff made an even more effort than the luxury we received daily, they laid on a fresh seafood and buffet banquet, fireworks and tribal dancing AMAZING. All this at fantastic value too !I cannot thank you all enough for making this such a memorable wonderful holiday. We hope to return soon, missing Agonda and the lovely Madhu owner and employees.

Room Tip: This is the best place on the beach. You will not be disappointed. Shekhar has upgraded some rooms with very posh en-suite for a little extra cost. We did not have one of these, but we had a look round and they are very nice. We were very happy with our slightly more basic facilities.

We were staying in Cavalossim and decided to head down to Agonda for a few days. We had nothing booked and luckily for us the taxi driver took us to Madhu Huts. We had a hut right on the beach....The bed was huge and soooo comfy and completely covered by a mosquito net.
The beach shack did fabulous food and marvellous cocktails. Nothing was too much trouble for the happy staff. Wish we could have stayed longer!
