It was a nice way to spent our weekend at Zell am See-Kaprun region. This small town is immerse between the Austrian alps few kilometers away from the Großglockner.
The pension itself has charm with all the colorful summer flowers, woods and Austrian details. The room is spacious and with a sweet balcony. The breakfast has all what you need for a perfect start of the day, all together been taken into care by the friendly host family.

We received a very warm welcome from the owner and as soon as she saw we were on a motorbike she got her husband to open their garage so we could put it in. The guest house is beautifully kept with a lot of attention to detail. Our room contained a fridge and a kettle and there were drinks and snacks available in the lobby. The breakfast was copious with the owner attending to her guests personally. Our room had a balcony which we enjoyed. Don't eat at the Hotel Post across the street as the service and food were not good but we did have an excellent meal at the Landgasthof Wasserfall.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front are on the road which is great if you want to watch all the vehicles coming down from the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

This is an excellent place to stay, good value too. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped with nice things like wine glasses and clean (no cheap plastic) glasses in the bathroom. Breakfast was way above average, with nice coffee and eggs cooked to order. Family operated with great hospitality.

We have been now for the forth time in Pension Oberreiter and we had a great time. Locations is great (for skying, tracking or cycling), the pensions is very clean and elegant and the the owners are very nice people, trying all the time to help you and to make you feel special. Food is really good so if you have the opportunity go there.
Beside that they are dog friendly so if you have one you can bring it.

Room Tip: all the rooms are very nice

Previous guests have already described very well the great service and atmosphere that the hotel is offering, but what I liked most was the personal touch in every aspect of our stay in it. The hosts really love what they do and you can see it when Marlene (the owner) is pouring your coffee at 7AM or Hermann (her husband) is heating the sauna in the afternoon after a ski day. A great place to be.
