The first time we visited Rocabella in 2015, we said 'We never visit anywhere twice'!!! Boy were we wrong, we went back again in 2016 and then again September 2017.

What can I say, staying at Rocabella feels like home to me, pulling up to from the airport just made me smile. Rocabella makes my heart happy! (Can I please come and live there)!!

The best thing about Rocabella is EVERYTHING!!! The staff, the service, the views, the ambiance, the architecture, the interior design and the food. This place has it all and does it with class!

You are greeted with champagne, whilst George and Aneste whip your bags away to your room. Alan or Margarita will go through everything with you, all the hotel facilities, plus the map of Mykonos making recommendations depending on what you like. The rooms are in true Mykonian style, beautifully arranged. And a welcome fruit platter awaits you in your room. There is a pillow menu, and a choice of aromatic oils for the turn down service, at which point they leave a little treat in your room each night.

Breakfast is a delight and there is a fabulous variety of food to choose from. There is a fabulous menu of hot dishes to order, so many options that we had something different everyday. And there is also a buffet of fruit, cereals, breads, yogurt, traditional breakfast foods and lots of other Greek treats. A sweat treat from the chef such as pancakes or French toast is brought to your table each morning, which is lovely. We normally snack through the day, but after this breakfast, no snacks were needed!

Reeza is the hotel restaurant and one of the top rated restaurants in Mykonos, and for good reason. People travel from all over the island to eat there. The food is delicious and very well presented. The quality of the room service food is also amazing. The hotel bar is well stocked and looked after by the lovely Amerissa, who makes awesome cocktails. Even if the cocktail is not on the list, she will whip it up for you. What a lovely girl and always smiling. We were surprised to see a bottle of Teeling (An Irish Whiskey from a small distillery in Dublin) That's the whiskey that my husband drinks, so he was delighted!

The hotel is over looking the beach (the beach is a 5 minute walk) and is in a lovely quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the town. However Mykonos town is an easy 7 minute drive away and there is a free shuttle bus that leaves every hour, and comes back to collect you. George is soooo nice and knowledgeable about the Island, I loved listening to his stories. :)

The food on the island is amazing, fresh and tasty. We did not have one single bad meal. You can eat as expensive as you like or as cheap as you like and it will be equally as good. Since this was our third time in Mykonos it was great to go back to some familiar places. Pepper is fab for Souvlaki and we love Nice and Easy, an organic restaurant next to the windmills, amazing for watching the sunset.

All of the reception girls are lovely and friendly, and willing to help you with anything. Nothing is too much to ask. Front of house is ran by Margarita, who is always smiling! (Margarita we hope your dog get better very soon).
Alan is an absolute treasure, I've never stayed in a hotel that has anyone like you working for them, your value is priceless! You run Rocabella with so much class and finesse, and it shows in the service that is provided by the hotel, you should be very proud!

The only bad thing about Rocabella is having to leave! :(

Stay cool Rocabella..... Until we meet again! xx

(Treat yourself to a massage, Martha has the best hands in the business. And a Jacuzzi room is well worth it. Sitting in the Jacuzzi with a glass of champagne was the best part of our day)

Room Tip: All rooms are amazing. If you can, get one with a Jacuzzi, they are awesome!

We decided to stay at Rocabella to celebrate our first marriage anniversary. We stayed in Mykonos for three days. Unfortunately, we where able to reserve 2 days due to the hotel’s availability.

The first day was perfect! The staff is so nice and friendly, starting from the shuttle drivers to the front desk staff and other staff members.

We received a very kind celebration card and sparkling wine bottle at our room. The hotel facilities are great, including the view, pool, room, pillows, breakfast…

For the second day we went to the other hotel counting the hours to return. The Rocabella hotel was so nice to offer to arrange transportation to the other hotel and also to offer us to use the facilities, since we were coming back.

On the third day, we wanted to return to Rocabella as soon as possible. :)
Despite the check in time to be at 2PM, they already had our room ready at noon. And for our surprise, they offered us a complementary upgrade with a welcome back card and amenities. What is more than perfect?!?

There are details and feelings that I won’t be able to describe. You will feel it only when staying at Rocabella! :)

Whenever in Mykonos/Greece, do yourself a favor and experience “perfect” at Rocabella.

It's important to note that I have NEVER written a review on Tripadvisor, Yelp, etc., but there is a special place on the island of Mykonos that after 3 consecutive visit completely deserves my time and thoughts.

The special place is called: Rocabella (Mykonos) and the special person who manages everything from the property to the staff to the pristine presentation for your authentic Mykonos experience is named Alan.

Alan is the true definition of class and will do everything and anything to make your stay personal and unforgettable - I have sent handfuls of friends to the Rocabella and the first thing that everyone always says is "Alan... Wow!" (Note, utilize Alan's extensive Mykonos knowledge to get the best reservations)

Secondly, the staff... the staff can make or break anyone's stay anywhere and I assure you that the staff at Rocabella will shed new light on resort service. They are the most welcoming, jovial, kind and beautiful people who will absolutely make you want to come back year after year.

The Roceballa's amenities such as Reeza Restaurant, the serene, white rock-lined pool and the breathtaking views are arguably the best on the island.

If you are unfamiliar with Mykonos, The Rocabella property is located in Agios Stefanos - a blissful area in sight of downtown, but not in the craziness. Therefore, it offers the best of both world's as you can truly escape and watch the gorgeous sunsets on the SW of the island or take a quick 3min shuttle, car, scooter in to downtown. (Also, worth noting, you will be a stone's throw from any ferry, cruise, boat if you are travelling via water).

I just arrived home from my 3rd consecutive trip to the Rocabella and everything I have outlined above will keep coming back, The experience provided by Rocabella is a hybrid of luxury, playfulness, a dose of sexy and limitless relaxation.

The Rocabella should be your undisputed destination in Mykonos!

You know when you return to a place you fell in love with first time round? So often the experience fails to match the memories of that first time - everything was new and different, everyone tried so hard to impress and you had a bunch of new photos to show your friends. Giving it a superlative review when you are back home was easy.

Going to the same place (and the same room) second year in a row was always going to be risky. Well as you can tell from the title of my review, Rocabella has lost none of its magic! Alan, IMO one of best GMs in the business, has retained all of his energetic, friendly, knowledgeable, customer-service obsessed staff. I could go on but you get the idea. One simple example: when you need recommendations for new restaurants, beach tavernas, bars or beaches ANY one of the staff is happy to share their personal recommendations - all of them good and some of them definitely off the beaten path.

The property has retained everything we loved first time round: bountiful buffet breakfast, pillow menu, turndown service with scented aromatherapy candles, luxury linens, and I am guessing a new coat of white paint. The place was gleaming!

This year we were encouraged to eat at Raza the resort restaurant, which is something we don't normally do. Well we are so glad we did the setting was lovely and the menu was more Greek fusion (which worried me a little) but was truly delicious.

Rocabella - worth every penny! Now starting to save all of them to return for a 3rd year.

I Absolutely cannot recommend this hotel enough, what a beautiful place to stay. After doing a lot of research I stumbled upon this hotel and thought it looked lovely, but when we arrived it exceeded all expectations.

From our room to the pool area, staff, food, check in, I can't fault anything and the location is perfect too. Just a couple of minutes walk to st Stefanos beach, and a short drive (the hotel provided a free shuttle) to Mykonos town.

If you are looking for a hotel in Mykonos, look no further, it doesn't get better then this.

Thanks for an amazing week!!
