“Lovely cottage in a lovely location!”
Reviewed 6 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Buchanty house. Can not really pick any major faults. It was perfect for our family stay, a real chance to switch off and escape. As soon as we arrived, it felt like a home away from home.
Fantastic location, about 10 minutes walk into Pateley Bridge, wonderful garden with views into field with sheeps, hens etc, which my little boy loved. The bedrooms were clean, comfy beds and plenty of storage. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we could ever need.
There were 7 of us staying and the only thing that I would say is that one proper shower between us all (one in bath too, but not ideal for a quick shower) was a bit of a juggling act, but very much a tiny little niggle, and nothing that would stop us returning in the future.
Already planning on booking a return trip!
