The food was very good, antispasti quite orginal and different from elsewhere in the area,m and the pasta really good.
The problem was the serive and the fact that there is no menu, and the waiters took advantage of it. What we did not appreciate was that we just entered to have a simple plate of pasta each (Sunday evenings...) and we could not manage to only order it, we felt literally forced to take wine (ok, not expensive, but...) and we were told: "before the primi, I will bring you some small antipasti, etc.. ok?"
... va bene, after all why not.
then as soon as the ten small plates of antispasti are brought, the waitress comes again to ask us to order the primi (before we feel to full to do so).. this time, we ask gently if we can order AFTER!
Indeed, after the antipasti not hungry enough for an entire plate of pasta so we order one for two... they re really good but it s hard to enjoy them as every time they come and ask me what contorno o secondo I wish (as I don't take a primo...).
Then, the last straw was when they brought us the bill and charged us 20€ (!!) for the mere antipasti.... it was not worth 20€ for sure. I guess the fact I did not order a second dish increased the bill by 10€.... for me, this is not something we can praise in a restaurant. Even though the food was fairly good, it s sneaky and left me with a bitter feeling...
I would not recommend this place. Sorry guys.
