We visited the coffee shop after being recommended to do so by a friend.
We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was varied and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I was pleased to find that they could offer gluten free toasties and a choice of gluten free cakes. I thoroughly enjoyed my toastie and carrot cake. The coffee was also excellent.
We will certainly be back.

Stopped several times on bike rides. Good grub and willing to accommodate muddy bikers too - even set up outside chairs and table especially for us. Coffee and cake was good - decent portions too.

Visited with friends who are all aficionados of the humble scone and everyone said how much they enjoyed them!
Plenty of choice with plain, cheese, cherry, treacle all freshly baked this morning. Home made Jams and Clotted cream to adorn the scones too!
As we left almost 1½hrs after arrival, café was almost full with folks taking a bite of lunch.
Staff very helpful with nothing too much bother!

On the lovely and gently winding A72 that runs along the River Tweed. This is a great route to travel between Selkirk and Peebles or Moffat. Great for Classic Cars and Motorcycling. The range is a little small and they often run out of Burgers and the like.
If you forgive them for this then you will enjoy the simplicity of the place. One of my favorite stops.

Attractive warm premises serving delicious home produced meals and snacks. Staff very welcoming.
Don't forget to look through Raymond's exquisite cashmere knitwear, a local expert.
