“An expensive exercise ”
Reviewed 30 April 2016 via mobile

We visited the Sanctuary which was OK and then went on the bus to see animals which we had already seen in abundance throughout the park. It really wasn't worth the time and money.

“Up close with the Devils!”
Reviewed 8 April 2016

This is a great trip, combining a visit to the Tasmanian Devils sanctuary with animal night spotting. We were able to see the devils at close quarters, as well as Eastern and Spotted Tail Quolls. The team are clearly very dedicated to helping preserve the endangered devils and we learned a great deal about their way of life.
We then went out with a couple of spotlights to see what animals we could find in the wild - we saw wombats, pademelons, wallabies and possums though, sadly, no devils (our guide had seen two the previous night on her way home)
All our guides were very knowledgeable.

“Temptations of Tassie Tour”
Reviewed 26 March 2016

I went on an 8 days tour of Tasmania. Geoff was our Driver, we had 37 people on board and a hostess also to look after us. I enjoyed every moment of the tour, but one or two places stand out in my mind, they are Platypus House which you get up close to these lovely animals. also the East Coast Nature World on a tour of the Wildlife Centre where we fed the animals and had a nurse of blue tongue lizards. The animals were very friendly. We saw a Wombat nursed by his handler. We visited Port Arthur, but unfortunately the day we were there, it poured rain and was very windy and cold, but we braved the elements and went around the settlement with a guide. The whole of the island of Tasmania is lovely and green and has lots of interesting trees.. Worth a visit, for anyone who hasn't ben there before.

“Make sure you have a lot of time”
Reviewed 21 March 2016

We visited the visitor centre and took the shuttle bus up to the lake. Stunning scenery and wildlife. Saw a wedge tailed eagle, quite rare to see.
Our mistake was that we didn't have time to do the lake walk and could only do glacier rock and boat house, missed out but the weather wasn't ideal.
Lovely drive from Cradle Mountain to Strahan afterwards.

“Highlight of the trip”
Reviewed 12 March 2016 via mobile

The night spotting was a real highlight to our trip. We saw wallabies, pademelons, possums, and wombats...all in the wild. Olivia, our guide, was very good and enthusiastic.
