Visited as it was recommended, but goodness knows what other people see in it. Food was bland and boring, service terrible. I ordered "sizzling hot" "spicy" chicken fajitas (their description) Not even seasoned with black pepper, let alone the chilli seasoning one would expect in this dish. Very disappointing. Desserts fine if you like tons of squirty cream and nothing much under it. The lack of service was breath-takingly bad, and as far as I was aware, all diners were treated equally badly. The young inexperienced staff had obviously not been trained. They did not know the menu, or the drinks. The hot dishes were brought in before the cold salads and dips! My partner's meal was not much better, although at least it was as described, but he hated the chips.

A friendly atmosphere with a roaring fire in bar and lounge

Bar meal was very good value and Chris and the cook were very friendly and the rooms were very clean and warm.

Emma was helpful, friendly and had good customer care skills putting the guests first at breakfast

Room Tip: Small village outside Knighton with car parking

I visited the Inn on new years eve with some family members who have just moved to Knucklas, and what a surprise to find such a busy, warm welcoming pub, great food, drink and people, look forward to my next visit.

My husband and i stopped here on our way to the south of Wales, and we were most pleased. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and quite spacious. The food they serve is fresh and absolutely delicious. Do order a side of mash potatoes- so good!

We must mention though, that the sat nav took us though some very VERY narrow roads to reach the Inn. We are not sure if there is a better alternate route. Just thought i`'d mention this so you can do some research before hitting the road.

Room Tip: rooms number 3 and 4 require going up stairs
