Wild Harvest restaurant is basically the best restaurant on King Island & its definitely worth visiting to experience the fresh local seasonal produce.
My hubby booked Wild Harvest for my birthday which was a complete surprise. The restaurant is located in Grassy overlooking Bass Strait.
For entree we ordered the seafood chowder soup which was delicious. However the crayfish tails were the highlight of the evening as we had wanted to buy some from town but to no avail. So having them on the menu was super exciting ..
Desserts were also yummy & very indulgent. We were also happy to have a Jazz musician playing whilst we dined which certainly made our evening more enjoyable & memorable.
Overall - delicious gastronomical dining experience in a gorgeous captivating setting. Bookings are advisable ; as not always are they open if they don’t have a reservation.
