We could not have chosen a better vacation and lodging for our first international couples trip. The staff is very professional and friendly. The resort provides private tours for its guests. The property is well kept. In our opinions, the view from the resort is the most breath taking experience in Thailand.

When i first saw the resort after almost an hour of travel from the airport, the cottages in the resort looked frozen in time. The place was so tranquil, we could hear the breeze, birds and all the sounds of nature which we have taken for granted in our routine. our cottage had a patio leading to a pond with water lilies and lotus which overlooked a building which looked haunted! we found absolutely no other inmates except the occasional hotel crew in their bicycles for almost 2 days. Imagine! It was so silent, we spoke in whispers! The quintessential Thai food in the restaurant was delicious. The Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. we walked to the elephant resting place close to the resort. From baby elephants to the old ones were brought near the water source and looked like to entertain the tourists as well. just outside the gate of the Villa has a coffee shop which offers ATV rides and other adventure. We did not try these. There are 2 pools and larger pool out of the 2 is well maintained. As we visited in the off season we did not experience the raved cool climate, though it rained every day for an hour or so. Best time of visit is from June to October.

Room Tip: we stayed in AC villa for 4 which had 2 bedrooms and a huge hall and dining space with kitchen.

Its a great facility, although a little away from the city. Its good for travel during November to February as March could be a little hot in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Being located a little up on the hills the atmosphere is clean and very conducive for relaxing.

this hotel was 40 minutes from chaing mai. they offer a bus into chaing am and back for a fee. we liked being in the jungle area. we had some lovely walks. five minutes walk from the hotel at about 10am you can see elephants being led down to a waterfall. Nobody rides these but they wash and feed them. this is all anybody should do with the elephants!!. the staff were so friendly and helpful. we did not try the hotel restaurant as had heard bad reviews. the hotel is tired but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would choose it again. some people would find it to far out. But we enjoyed the hustle and bustle of chaing mai and enjoyed going back to the tranquility of our hotel. We hired a car and driver for the day from the hotel and this was fantastic. we went to a couple of waterfalls one which is not known very well but is so different called sticky waterfall.
