We ate here twice. Pasta's (fresh) are on of the best we tasted during our holiday. Pizza " Vechhio Cinema" is delicious. They have an excellent wine menu (try the Chianto Classico Pietro Beconcini, 15 euro's per bottle) and an extensive beer list. But start with an appetizer, the best is the black angus carpaccio!
We loved eating here. Staff are hard working, speak excellent English. Prices are very fair! We paid for 2 appetizers (7 euro each), 1 bottle of water, 1 bottle of Chianto (15 euro), 1 pasta (8 euro), 1 pizza (9 euro), 50-55 euro's inclusive coporto.
Would recomment this lovely pizzeria when you are in San Miniato.

We went here twice and enjoyed very nice pizza and pasta. The pizza was super thin and crispy just like we wanted it. The homemade pasta can be recommended as well.

The single waitress was a little too busy with so many customers (30-40!) but nice and friendly. Nevertheless some people looked seriously annoyed that they had to wait quite long while the waitress was running all over the restaurant. Just be prepared for that.
We enjoyed that they spoke English and had an English menu as well.

There also had a nice selection of international beers, “white pizza” (try it if you don’t know it) and Nutella pizza for dessert (nice try as well!)

Prices are okay but keep in mind the 2 Euro cover charge (no bread included!). Ordering for take-out is no problem if you want to eat at home.

Failing to get a table on Saturday night (not the restaurants fault) we returned on Sunday to see how a modern pizzeria in a hill town sees food. The restaurant was relatively quiet at 730 having just opened but was soon very busy. Unfortunately while a nice place to enjoy with your eyes with movie memorabilia etc the acoustics in here make the restaurant very noisy and hard to hold a conversation without repeating yourself. Food wise this was ok, pizza crusts were a little too thin and papery for me with little to chew but the toppings were good. Waiting staff are very busy and bustled around in a manner we haven't seen in a Tuscan restaurant before bless them, they work very hard.

We stayed in San Miniato for 2 nights & are at Vecchio Cinema both nights. So many other restaurants in the area are over priced, we found the food at Vecchio Cinema to be absolutely delicious & the staff were super friendly & helpful.
