Having lived in Greece for two years in the early 70’s and visited many places on holiday since then, after a ten year absence from Greece we came to kefalonia, an island we had not previously visited. It lived up to all expectations of Greek food as we remembered it including the friendly waiters and the ambience. It was always customary to ask to see the food on offer and they were happy to show us the fresh fish from which to make a choice. We had previously gone into another restaurant and asked to see their fish, which they refused to show us, so we left. We were surprised to read the poor revues. We have written a similar revue of another restarant in Argostoli. Traditionally fish was served on its own this restaurant added a nice touch of some vegetables round the plate of fish. The one we ordered was large and we shared it between us.
