This visit was my family and other family members over several day stay and just like my last stay the property and rooms were in great condition and very clean. Most of the staff from the housekeeping, front desk, restaurants and bars, and especially the people at the Market Place were outstanding and very helpful. The only issues I had were the pillows which were terrible but similar to other Marriott based on their standard pillow required and the bed frames. At the base of the bed frame the wood comes out in a solid square that is 3 inches or greater from the corners at the foot of the mattress and at a height lower than the mattress corner so every member of my family banged their knee and shin repeatedly during the 4 nights we were there. This really needs to be addressed as it serves no support purpose and sticks out 3 inches past the mattress so the white bedding hides the dark wood frame corner.
But like I said room was clean and comfortable, team of associates were outstanding, and the Front Desk and Market Place members were stars!

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with view and for nearest room to the elevators that take you to the area of the hotel you need most access to daily.

This is the second Gaylord property I have been to in the last month with the other being the massive property in Nashville. This facility I don’t believe is larger and the location along the harbor it is beautiful. I love the use of glass in the atrium that overlooks the harbor. Not sure why the hotel bars close around midnight but there is a casino nearby if you’re into night life. Rooms are spacious and my room overlooks the beautiful atrium. The convention space is ridiculously large and can hold a very large group. My group included 1,200 people and it was easily accommodated by this property. Food quality of this hotel is good which is surprising considering the size of it. Suggestion: make sure your flights arrive to avoid fighting rush-hour traffic. My flight arrived to Reagan national at 3:45pm and it was bumper-to-bumper traffic to get to the hotel property.

The resort is very nice. There are a few places to eat and drink at the facility, although costly. One deli sandwich at the market place is $12 and a soda is $4. If you choose to venture out of the hotel you will find other places to eat and buy necessary items. If you’re planning to eat in the hotel consider making reservations. The resort gets very busy with numerous conferences happening all at once. The gym was nice and fairly large. Did not get a chance to try the spa. Fountain in atrium is pretty and neat to watch.

This hotel is massive because it is a part of the convention center. It is within the National Harbor, which is great because you have shops, restaurants, bars and other hotels nearby. Beware that this hotel hosts quite a bit of conferences and competitions. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is not included, but there are a few different options within the hotel or nearby. The fitness room and the pool are very large and clean. The hotel is also right on the river and there is a boardwalk to walk.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights for a conference. The conference was also held in the hotel. The room was large but a little outdated. The walls had some marks on hit and the carpet was clean but could use a makeover. The beds were comfy. The cleaning staff did a good job. I had a room on the fourth floor with no view, which was ok. The place was huge so it took a while to walk from point a to point b. The atrium was pretty. Other than the food they served for lunch and breakfast during the conference, I grabbed an expensive coffee but did not try the restaurants. The staff was mostly good, but I did have a weird interaction with one of the women at the transportation desk where she treated me like I was really dumb. The bar on the top floor had really cool views and the martini bar made a good martini. Overall, ok.
