“Perfect spot to relax”
Reviewed 5 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This is a perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage is peaceful, comfortable and very well equipped with thoughtful extra touches, welcome tray, flowers, bottle of wine. Very comfortable bed, nice linen, towels and toiletries. Sandra an Nick are great hosts. We loved it.

Just got back from a week at The Old Post Office cottage in Malton. It was fantastic would certainly go again it was well equipped with everything you need. the location was perfect for exploring the coast and also York too. The cottage is very cosy and has a log fire which we didn't get chance to use as it was lovely weather. I can really recommend a visit to Yorkshire there is so much to see and do we visited lots of places but it was so nice to get back and relax. if you are looking for a homely peaceful rural setting this is perfect. Thank you Sandra for the bottle of wine and letting us stay in your beautiful cottage xx

Lovely cosy cottage in in a rural location but within easy reach of tourist attractions. Ideal for a relaxed week or break. It is very clean and the owners were delightful and made us very welcome.

We stayed here during the school Easter holidays and had a fantastic time. The cottage is well furnished and very comfortable. It was equipped with everything we could need. The location too is perfect. Set in a beautiful, quiet village but within easy reach of York, the North Yorkshire Moors national park and the coastal resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey. We also enjoyed days out at Eden Camp and Flamingo Land. The owners could not have been more helpful. They left wine, flowers and Easter eggs for us which was a lovely touch. The guest book shows that there are many return visitors and I can see why.
