“Without exaggeration - fantastic adventure with rental service!”
Reviewed 22 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

This was my fourth campervan rental experience in Scotland and so far it was the best.
Most people in rental service are friendly, helpful and service minded but there are few things that put Adventure Wagons on top of my list:
- welcoming and personal approach to meet our wishes and needs with no fuss (very flexible about pick up and drop off times of vehicle if in their power, no unnecessary Sunday supplement)
- location (walking distance in Edinburgh centre, no need for additional transport cost and precious holiday time)
- fair price and standard security deposit that doesn't kill credit card for a week
- fresh smelling bedding and towels (hireable extras also fair priced and don't compensate on rent price)
- extras in car like Lonely Planet Scotland, book about best walks and hikes, 2016 road maps book, cd & dvd, food essentials that you use in minimum but have to buy big (tea, coffee, butter, oil, liquid wash...) and welcome drink (beer from local brewer was nice touch)
- reliable and serviced, comfortable driven car with build in awning (great for tea in dreich), dvd player, fast gas heating system.

That why I'll return and recommend Adventure Wagons.

Nikki, Greg and Gary keep up the good work and Thank You again for this great adventure!

“Stunning trip, reliable and well-kitted out camper van”
Reviewed 4 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We drove the Highland 500 (plus the miles from Edinburgh) in 6 days, so we did a LOT of driving. The surroundings were completely breathtaking, and the Scottish people are the friendliest around. We had a great trip, in a really neat little campervan. Gary and Nikki were wonderful to rent from, really explaining all the features of the van and being contactable at all times. They gave good tips for the journey, and have done up the van to a really high standard. We made use of the bluetooth speakers in the van for our road trip music, and the bluetooth speaker for our iPads in the evening, and even the dvd player. Ticked all the boxes and more.

“Awesome Campervan experience. Excellent service”
Reviewed 17 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We rented the camper-van for 2 nights in between Christmas and new year and drove between Edinburgh, Aviemore and Glencoe as my other half hasn't seen much of Scotland. The van drove smoothly with decent fuel economy and stood up very well against characteristic Scottish weather of horizontal rain and gale force winds. Everything we could have needed for our stay was in the van, particularly useful was the gas heating which warmed the van up in less than 10 mins. Gary and Nikki were really helpful particularly with pick up and drop of times to suit us. I'll definitely consider booking again during the summer months.

“The best campervan we have ever stayed at!”
Reviewed 9 January 2016 for a stay in November 2015

We hire the campervan to do a wee trip around the Highlands. Gary and Nikki were absolutely lovely, could not be nicer. We drove around the Caingorms for a couple of days, it was a really cold an snowy weekend but the van has hitting so we had a fantastic time! The van had absolutely everything you could need, and more... Even a DVD!!
Great experience that we are planning to repeat very soon!

“2 nights away ”

We had a great two nights away in the V-dub, I must say it's a pleasure to drive just like a car. We drove from Edinburgh to Bamburgh stayed the night and then drove over to kielder forest. Being compleat novices we went to campsites both nights although the wagon is more than capable of wild camping. We did cook up some bacon and eggs in the morning and Joanna loved being able to plug the hairdryer in... We enjoyed it so much we are now planning a North coast 500 holiday next year...

Thanks Brian & Joanna! It's great to hear that Joanna is a convert to camper van adventures! Well done for taking the van south, it spends most of its days around the North Coast 500 and Isle of Skye!
