We have stayed here on various occasions in the past and were happy to return here in these covid times. The controls in place were as good as we had anticipated and guests were fully informed about all the measures the hotel had taken to protect guests. We felt safe and secure. Room was clean and staff excellent. The only problem we had was wi-fi which did not work throughout our stay. An extremely helpful staff member on reception (Melen) did her very best to assist and sort the problem but sadly we could not access wi-fi at all.

Have to agree with lots of others - this Premier Inn (although of the older style) is spotless and staff very helpful.
The TableTable inn adjoined is also spotless and following Covid guidelines brilliantly, we felt safe. We visited twice and the food, although fairly standard menu, was well cooked and piping hot. Servers Lorraine and Carol very friendly and attentive.

Premier just get so many things right, hence I use them often, but it's always excellent when you come across one that goes the extra mile. The room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was excellent (cooked to order!), but I do have to call out the staff who were so lovely. The restaurant staff were great, as were the reception staff but I would like to make a special mention to Abbie who met us on arrival (apologies if I spelt your name wrong). She was particularly lovely and extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome upon arrival.

Thank you all.

Nice relaxing stay. Only stayed for one night. Friendly and helpful staff. Room spotless. Did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on food. The area was.very quite and peaceful. Would have been nice to have a couple of biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Otherwise everything was perfect. Would book again. Highly recommended.

Stayed here a couple of times a year ever since it opened as convenient for visiting family in the area. Always been great value and very well kept and clean. Only niggle is that the free Wi-fi could be quicker but they do sell a premium service if you’re on expenses. Adjacent Table Table pub restaurant is ideal if you can’t be bothered driving out but there are half a dozen reasonable restaurants nearby and the reception will always organise a taxi for you - £5 to £7 typically

If you want to go into Edinburgh town centre then the nearby Eskbank park and ride station only about a mile away will have you at Edinburgh Waverley in 10 minutes
