This was one of the hotels on our Alpe Adria cycle trip. We were in the Post-Box-Rooms at the back of the hotel which had a nice outlook, excellent bathrooms and each room had a great quirky style. Staff were very friendly and the hotel has great breakfasts. Its well located for walking into the old town and to Schloss Portia

On our Munich to Venice bike tour loop we stayed in a variety of lodging options but none as playful, artsy, and fun as the Erlebnis Post. From the tiny red old school car in the lobby to the art on the walls of our room, the Erlebnis made our experience more engaging. Equally important, the staff was super helpful, and the hotel is well equipped to deal with bikes and bicyclists.

Room tip: Ask about the art theme in each room.

We were on a motorbike tour and booked late into this wonderful hotel. Due to a puncture we were running late and emailed ahead. Our keys were out waiting for us and the very kind owner showed us around and where to park our bikes in their car park. We thought we would be too late for dinner, but no, the produced an amazing spread of rack of ribs. But also it is the most amazing collection of curios and items on a grand scale. You have to go there to appreciate them. Same for the bedroom!! Highly recommended.

I always stay in this hotel every time I am on business trip to Spittal, as my colleague always book a room for me here.
This the 3rd time I stay here, for 2 nights. As always, I got friendly reception.
The room is so spacious.
The kitchen providea Austrian/Kantern dishes that are so delicious.

An old hotel that has been renovated in an interesting and strange way at the same time! All rooms are different and the interior is sometimes to much, to extreme, the charm is missing. The room was ok but to extreme, nice view and located in the middle of the centrum. The interior and the menu in the restaurant was nice, the food was absolutely ok but it was not as good as we thought when reading the menu. A perfect hotel when you just pass by for 1 night.
