Recommended by the hotel proprietor, we ventured to our first Italian restaurant in Italy. We were not disappointed. Service was great. (I really didn't know the Italian custom of table service charge). English menu was available, but one server spoke pretty good English. Food was very good for the money. I was bit surprised by the very small portion of salad we ordered even by the European standard, though. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
