“Beautiful House and Perfect Location”
Reviewed 23 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

My Husband and I have just returned from a week staying at Eleni Holiday Home. We had such a fantastic and relaxing time, it was very hard to leave. The house itself is perfect, it was just the two of us but spacious enough for another couple. The house was clean and bright but felt cosy at the same time. Our favourite parts were the pool and outside space. The views from the veranda were spectacular during the day and at night. The area is very quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed playing our music and drinking wine on the balcony in the evening.

We have stayed in Cyprus before but on the other side of Paphos so Peyia town was new to us. The house is in a great location for getting around and exploring, but without having to do much travel. You can walk into Peyia town in about 10 minutes but we would recommend car hire to explore the area further. The whole holiday experience worked out really well for us as we would get up early most days, venture out for the morning and return to the pool for the afternoon. There are many things to do locally, here are a few of our favourites:

Visit the sea caves, just a 10 minute drive away – but venture along further to the right-hand side and you will find a couple of private beach bays. Empty in the morning and great for a snorkel in the shallow waters.

Go to Coral Bay – we skipped the main part and used the steps at the far right to get into the sea. The water is shallow and sandy but there are also rocks for snorkelling.

Visit Paphos Zoo, just a few km’s up the main road. We were very lucky to visit and meet a 3 month old tiger cub. We were able to have a few minutes with him for a small donation. AMAZING!

Take a slightly longer drive inland and around to the Baths of Aphrodite. There is a small beach here and the sea is crystal clear and very calm.

View the sunset at Agios Georgios.

Maria was a friendly and welcoming host, who had waited until late for us to arrive and greet us. We had a late return flight home too and Maria was flexible with our checking out time, which really helped us out.

We would highly recommend Maria as a host and the Eleni home for a relaxing holiday but with many options to get out and explore too! We would love to return again with our friends and family. The house next door can also be rented out at the same time for bigger groups but it won’t be rented to anyone else if you are staying at Eleni.

“A wonderful holiday home, in a peaceful location, with splendid panoramic views”
Reviewed 17 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

The Eleni holiday home is in a very peaceful part of upper Peyia. The home was very clean and tastefully decorated; and you were made to feel that for the duration this was your home. The views from the pool/patio and the master bedroom, overlooking coral bay and adjoining shorelines, are magnificent. The pool was kept very clean and is of a perfect size. Our host, Maria, met us on the outskirts of Peyia to escort us to Eleni. She was very helpful and also provided us with a basket containing wine, fruit and other groceries when we arrived. On our first full day we walked into the upper village of Peyia, where there are a number of tavern's and a small Philippos supermarket. Using a short cut pathway close to Eleni it took us 15 minutes to get there and 10 minutes to get back; note it is uphill all the way there and I am in my late 60's. There are numerous restaurants within easy driving distance; we can certainly recommend the Grande Cafe Bar in upper Peyia, Harmony's and Wisdom's on the Paphos road, and the Sea Caves Restaurant on the Agios Georgios road. We had a superb, peaceful and relaxing 2 weeks at Eleni; so if you want to chill out this is definitely the place to go.

“Great getaway”

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a week here in mid-May. Even though it was just the two of us, they didn’t rent out the property next door so we had the pool and veranda all to ourselves. The location was great; shops and restaurants are in walking distance (though it is on a hill and it’s a bit steep on the way back up).

Regardless of if you do/don’t want to walk to the village, we would definitely recommend a car for travelling around the rest of the local area. The beach, for example, is just a five minute drive away, and there are lots of restaurants and other things to do nearby (we particularly enjoyed the quad bike tour).

Maria was very helpful and met us near the entrance to the village on the first night to guide us up to the villa. She also kept in touch throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. All in all it was very good and I would highly recommend to others.

“Everything we wished for....and more!”
Reviewed 4 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

I have just returned from a 2 week stay at Eleni and neighbouring house Sava's, and I can honestly say these houses are excellent for a holiday with extended family members. There were 7 adults and 3 children in all and there was lots of room for everyone. The en-suite bathrooms were a real bonus as was the downstairs bathroom. The outdoor area is fantastic and the private pool was superb. There was plenty of linen and towels provided as well as beach towels. The houses are in a nice quiet area and we were able to walk in to the village (a wee bit of a hike). The village has everything you need and a few nice bars too. I would definitely recommend these houses. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria and she kept in touch throughout our stay.

“Nice Break In The Sun”

Access to this very clean Town House is up 32 steps up from ground level. The exterior had a nice patio area with good quality sun beds & chairs with a fabulous pool with a nice view of Coral Bay. Interior lower level had everything you needed in kitchen & lounge but basic. Up 18 steps to the bedrooms & the thick framed king size bed had a thin small double mattress & was very uncomfortable. Enjoyed our stay but missed my bed, chair & TV & Wi-Fi.
