4 Nights at this establishment left us refreshed and relaxed. We received a warm welcome from the reception staff on duty and were promptly shown to our room. The view was spectacular and the room spacious and clean. Dafnoudi Hotel has a fabulous pool area with loungers and there is a pool bar where one can order something to drink. The staff are friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a short way away from the main area, Fiskardo where all the restaurants and shops are. This worked for us as the evenings were quiet with no noise disturbance. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: room with view of ocean!

Firstly, be aware: this hotel is a good 3km outside Fiskardo. It's about a 30-40min walk (all downhill) or you can get a taxi (especially back up the hill at night!) for 5 Euros.
But it's in a lovely village location, with gorgeous views to the west (lovely sunsets). The rooms are clean and comfortable (although our bathroom would do with a little attention as the shower screen was broken) and the pool and terrace are lovely. The breakfast was good although not as pictured in the website (no glorious array of fruit) but it was early in the season so it may not be practical to have a buffet (we were the only people having breakfast each day!). The village has a good cafe for breakfast & lunch (Picnic), a great taverna for lunch & dinner (To Petrino, or The Old Stone House), a mini market for food & wine & a beach shop.
Our visit was slightly marred by the arrival of a large group of young people who seemed to think they had rented the entire place and played loud music at 2am (until shouted at by me!) but that's not the fault of the hotel. It's not really that kind of place: I would recommend it for young families or couples who want a quiet break. Not good for anyone with limited mobility unfortunately as there are steps everywhere.
We'd definitely come again.

Room Tip: Great views. Not accessible for those with limited mobility.

Booked this place while on holiday as fancied a few days up north to explore. This was a fabulous find, the apartment was lovely and clean and the VIEW was amazing. It was so peaceful and beautiful to watch the sunset before heading out for the evening. Definitely won't be forgetting that in a while. Only negative was the bathroom/shower which was tiny and old fashioned needs a bit of an update.

My husband and baby daughter decided to visit Kefalonia for a much needed break this September. Thankfully we did our research and found Dafnoudi Hotel and Apartments. At the outset Dafnoudi were quick to respond to our requirements. Sea view apartment with a beautiful bedroom with all the amenities required including a baby cot for our daughter. When we arrived we were not disappointed. Gorgeous apartment with a lovely balcony to drink wine on during the evening! The apartment was cleaned and loaded with fresh towels everyday. As hosts Dafnoudi were brilliant and able to help with our queries, really down to earth and personable. Antipata where the hotel is situated is within close distance to Fiscardo, with it's cafes and restaurants. But you really don't need to leave to village. It has an amazing cafe (Picnic) for breakfast and lunch, a beach and a local taverna for evening meals. All within walking distance. We had a car during our trip to visit nearby Sami and amazing Myrtos beach. But some days we didn't even need to leave the hotel with it's bar and swimming pool. Bliss on a lovely sunny day. We met some really great people with the hotel, other travellers which is always a benefit for local tips. Top tip...visit Aquca Bar and restaurant 5 mins up the road by car amazing place on this hidden beach!! So any pluses the only thing I'd do differently next time is not order the hotel breakfast. It's not that great and there are so many other amazing choices nearby. I'd highly recommend Dafnoudi for a truly relaxing and authentic Greek island experience!
