Back in fiskardo again for the 7th year running and reassuringly tselentis is still here and still producing excellent quality food. The music selection throughout the day whether at breakfast or evening meal is relaxing and enjoyable.
I am going tomorrow for my traditional super continental breakfast up against the wall in the square. One of the things I love about this place is that they are not insecure about their product. They do not attempt to fight for your business. They allow the food to do the talking and are confident that this will be enough to bring you back. The negative comments which I noticed are certainly something which I do not recognise as being synonymous with this restaurant. Minas is reassuringly there in his seat with a chess board not too far from him. If you are feeling lucky challenge him to a match. The chicken souvlaki is a delight and unique with its accompaniment. The sauce is Devine. If you want a restaurant just off the front with tranquility then this is your place. Waiting staff not in your face but present and attentive. In my view the experience of tselentis is what fiskardo is - cultured, a taste of an age long gone with traditional notes present within the walls, hospitable and true celhalonia. Do yourself s favour and try it. You will then feel part of the family.
