Didn't pay very much at all for a weeks holiday all inclusive so never expect much.
I will start with the good points. Very friendly and helpful. We had a room in the side building which was lovely, kept clean every day, large shower cubicle and hot water anytime of day, in the main building was told by friends very small shower and hot water limited. Free Aircon, Free safe, hairdryer and small toiletries. Nice cold fridge and a kettle, our kettle was in there but others didn't have one but just went and asked and got one straight away. Pool area and buildings cleaned daily.
Not much surrounds this hotel but bus stop just outside and cheap to travel, drivers very helpful.
Bad points! Stop if you don't want to read, but helpful hints at the bottom.
Food pretty awful and very limited we could only manage 3 meals in the evening. Disappointed there was no snacks during the day. But ice creams 3.30 to 5.30.
All inclusive drinks very limited even though cocktails included they were not pleasant 'very sweet' all drinks come in the very small soft plastic party cups. I noticed in photos that hard plastic larger ones in peak season which would have been better. In the evenings only the metal hard seats round the pool to sit on and it does get chilly in the evening late September so an under cover part with slightly better chairs to sit on would be good, many other places in Rhodes I have been to have this and it's more comfortable and warmer.
I wouldn't return to this hotel.
HELPFUL HINTS
Beach 5-10 minute walk but with pebbles, Shop and restaurant there.
Lardos village square is lovely and can be walked which takes 20 minutes or bus €1.80 one way or Taxi €5 - €6. If you call a taxi from reception an extra €2.
Pefkos same price to get to on the bus as Lardos and taxi about €9 -€12.
Hope you find some things helpful, apparently the hotel is being done up this year, but it's not the rooms or areas that are the problem. Sort the food and drinks out and it would be fine.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Olive Garden from 6th September-13th September and we loved it. On the night that we got there we were told (at 1:30am) that they had overbooked and we didn't have a room. They arranged for us to stay the night at the Lardos Bay, a hotel around 2 minutes walk away. We were a bit annoyed but we so tired that we went to sleep straight away. The next morning we went and had breakfast at the Olive Garden and we were immediately placed in our hotel room which was bigger than we expected as we were upgraded due to the inconvenience.
Despite this, within one day we had forgotten about the overbooking problem. The entertainment staff were fantastic and treated us more like friends than hotel guests. Ask for Andrea, Ilenia, Julia and Chrys. We went on an excursion to Faliraki with them for a night out and it was amazing and we met some wonderful people from loads of different countries.
The food was generally very good. Every night there would be a traditional Greek option so that we could try some of the local cuisine, along with chips, pasta and a meat and fish option. Vegetarians have luck of the draw as some nights there would be a few options but sometimes my boyfriend (who is veggie) would end up eating a huge plate of pasta and chips. All in all, though, it was very good.
The pool bar opened at 10am and started serving alcoholic drinks at 11am until 11pm. There would be snacks and ice cream served in the afternoon.
Every day there would be entertainment and activities throughout the day such as mini golf, volleyball, water polo, water aerobics etc...
The beach is a 10 minute walk away which isn't bad, but you need to watch for cars and bikes because there is no pavement. The bus to Lindos costs 1.80€ each and the bus to Rhodes costs 5.60€. Always use buses if possible! Taxis are a rip off.
Take extra cash as the nearest cash point to the hotel is about a 15 minute walk away down a road that doesn't have a lot of pavement space. We did this one night and it was not fun .
Every Tuesday there is a Greek night which is great to get involved in and attempt to do some Greek dances. Other nights there was karaoke, cabaret etc...
All in all we had a fantastic stay here and when the time came to leave we were very sad to go. Would definitely stay here again.

We visited this hotel twice. First time we been in June and returned September around a week ago. It's a cheap and very good deal for us to come and relax in sun. Second visit was our last one. We will not return again and definitely will not recommend this hotel to our friends. Shame as we have many friends and usually we all recommending hotels to each other's. Definitely not recommending this one. The only reason we returned same summer is Animation Team! Andrea, Chrys and Julia are great! This hotel is very, very, very lucky to have such an great Animators! Animators made our holidays to be one of the best ones. The shows were great and funny! Many fun activities planned by Animators. Looking at the reviews is not just us but many other people think the same. We loved to spent time with them and especially Chrys who is great and makes everyone happy! Chrys looked after us very well and organised night outs to entertain us! It was great times we had! Big thank you to all Animation team and the biggest thank you to Chrys! You guys were the only reason we loved these summer holidays! Hotel should be proud to have you as Animators! The big thank you also to Janis who is serving drinks at pool bar! Great and hard working team member! The rooms were good and in general clean although in one of them the wall (near bin) was covered in something that has already dried. Not sure what was it. Food, as all people who we talked to during our first and second visit said, it was disgusting! We hoped that on our second visit something will change but no.. The only thing we had was chips and fruits as everything else tasted horrible. I think that's the biggest issue in this hotel! But well done as fruits were not bad! Shame we had to eat only fruits for 7 days...There were two receptionists. The taller one with black hair was very nice and pleasant but the shorter one was very rude especially on last day! We left luggages in car, returned our room keys and went near swimming pool to rest before our flight back. Literally 5min after returning keys at reception desk, receptionist (shorter and rude one) come up to us accusing us of taking and not returning keys to luggage room....(??? Short memory loss??.) She never gives us any keys..We have left our luggage's in car so no need for us to even accepting keys to luggage room. When we said that she never give it to us and we wouldn't take it anyway as we don't need them, she gives us attitude like we stole those keys and she left. Sun beds are damaged, twice I tried to lay down and fell over. Some of them are ripped and shouldn't been even available to customers due to health and safety!!!Even the metal chairs were missing screws! Cmon someone get get really injured. Swimming was very dirty for at least two days.. when I entered swimming pool I couldn't see bottom that's how dirty it was! We decided to go to the beach instead. Volleyball area is a joke... we play few times and to catch ball that gone off playing area I sacrificed my shoes that end up being covered in mud. Shame as hotel has a big potential! We hope that management will read this and other reviews and action as it's not a pleasant place to stay!
Again big thank you to Chrys and his team!

Room Tip: Rooms next to restaurant are much better

Well the food left quite a bit to be desired although always something to eat even if itr was just freash bread and ice cream for desert , the drinks well ive had stronger cans of shandy bass pop very weak and the soft drinks well dont know where to start , The room was ok though clean and tidy with good maid service and aircon kept it cool although ya cudnt leave it on while ya was out of the room . pool nice and kept clean etc entertainment well very repetative and stupid in parts . Walk to the beach yes is 10 mins but well worth it a lovely beach with crystal clear water and warm as well beach is a typical pebble beech so really need to wear swim shoes when walking in to the water . Lardos just down road about 6 to 8 euros in a cab a couple of nice bars and restaraunts there so worth the trip in an evening if nowt else to get a decent beer
All in all ok but think could do better

Room Tip: truy get rooms in main building area not across the other side of the tennis courts

the reviews i read before did not inspire me with confidence but the room was clean towels changed everyday, the staff were excellent. It was the food and entertainment we were not too impressed with.
