We went here for a week in August. Very nice hotel with a very helpful staff . The best of service and a very nice pool area. Breakfast was wonderful. They make everything fresh from the menu.Short walk down to the beach if you want to bath in the sea. Just 20 minutes walk by the beach to the city. We really enjoyed our stay here.

My partner and I have visited this hotel quite a few times now and never tire of the surroundings, the hotel or the staff. Wonderful service in super suites that have plenty of room. The hotel is situated just outside Skiathos town, and if you fancy a change from the hotel menu, it is an easy walk to town in the evenings where there is an abundance of great restaurants to choose from. Would highly recommend this hotel and I’m sure we will be back again soon.

We had hoped to stay in this superb establishment last year but were disappointed as it closed for the season just before we arrived in Skiathos. We stayed in town but made the effort of visiting the Aegean Villas just to see what we were missing. They looked so good and not to be outdone we booked to stay earlier this year to make sure we could experience them. What a good decision that was! The Suites are just about perfect. Staff in all departments first class, Simos in the bar and restaurant deserves special mention. Having said that the reception staff, chambermaids, porters and waiters were all excellent.
The hotel has a stunning location and we had a superior room (108) overlooking the see and about 60 steps up from reception. As the suites complex is on a hillside one has to be willing to climb up to most of the rooms, some higher than others of course but well worth the effort. Our suite was very well appointed with mini bar, tea maker, wardrobe (with easily operated safe) and bathroom off the lounge. A free, whole bottle of good Greek Chardonnay was provided on the table, a very welcome touch. The lounge was very large with seats and a settee. This room opened onto a balcony with great views over the sea and the entrance to Skiathos harbour. The bedroom was very large with a huge double bed and two windows with mosquito netting again looking out to sea. A/C and TV of course.
Breakfast was full service, apart from juice, rolls and a toaster and so made a wonderful change from buffets which now seem universal! A substantial breakfast menu is offered each day and attentive waiters are excellent. Starters generally fruit with yoghurt followed by conventional breakfasts prepared virtually any way one chooses. Cold cuts are also on offer. A long list I assure you. Dinner is either served in this open to the sea restaurant or on the open patio adjacent and under parasols. Simos was our waiter for both our dinners and was exceptional, neither too familiar or reserved. He was also employed in the bar one floor down and next to the swimming pool during the day. Pool itself was very good with 'double lifting' ends on the beds, so no needs to turn the heavy bed round if you want to face the other way. What a good idea.
Without reservation I would recommend the Aegean Suites for a adult stay.

Room Tip: 108, Not high, views to sea are unrestricted Balcony excellent place to taste the Chardonnay in the sunset.

This was a return visit from 2008 and happily nothing had changed. It was perfect on both occasions. All the staff were charming and efficient. The de luxe suite with lovely sea view balcony was just lovely, with effective air conditioning. Breakfasts are exceptional with a wide choice of freshly cooked hot items and an abundance of croissants, cake, pain au chocolat etc. The pool is beautiful and there is a beach just across the road with excellent tavernas and sunbeds.
We booked direct as a room on the lower level was necessary and the reception staff excelled in helping. It may be worth comparing flight prices though as I suspect the fly and stay package booked direct charged more for the Thomas Cook flights . Also these are booked thro a greek flight agent and no luggage was included.....had to go to TC to add this.

Room Tip: Room 103 is lovely with fewer stairs ( and an alternative sloping walkway)....many other rooms have many flights of stairs.

We wanted an adult only, small, 5star hotel and the Aegean Suites provided all we we wanted and so much more.
We were greeted by the manager and receptionist the moment our taxi arrived at the front of the hotel. Our cases were whisked away by a very willing porter and handy man in all things, to be deposited in our suite shortly after we checked in. A refreshing orange juice fetched as we sat and checked in and then we were shown to our suite and the communal parts of the hotel explained along the way. We were in suite 102 which did not have a sea view as such, it's described as a garden view suite, but from our terrace we did have glimpses of the sea. The garden suited us fine as it was on the lower level of the hotel which extends quite up the side of the hil so no climbing numerous steps involved and as the terrace was surrounded by a low wall and hedge gave us an real level of privacy. The suite was lovely and consisted of a very large living room with sofa, easy chairs, side board housing the fridge and coffee table. Off the this room was the bathroom which was very adequate albeit with an over bath shower rather than a walk in, another door led to the bedroom with a queen sized bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a dressing table. The terrace was accessed either from the bedroom or the living room and was much larger then most. And here we voice our only criticism the chairs on the terrace although very modern were not that comfortable and we had to use cushions from the sofa to make them so. The rooms are cleaned every day with towels changed twice daily and fresh bed linen every day. Air condition units in both rooms.
We opted for bed and breakfast as we wanted the option to sample the numerous array of restaurants in Skiathos town and along Megali Amos beach so cannot comment on the dinner experience at the hotel, breakfast however we were very happy with. Taken on the terrace and Not the usual buffet that we normally suffer on holiday, but waiter service. The selection was good, the fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt with honey a hit with us along with eggs cooked anyway, cheeses, bacon sausage, pancakes and much more. Arien the waiter was there to take your order almost as you sat down and soon began to remember our preferences.
The pool area is lovely and for the size of the hotel had a very large pool and a jacuzzi which miraculously turned on the moment you stepped in(operated by a switch by the pool bar man). The sun beds very comfortable and plenty of towels available even if you were away from the hotel. In the morning Arien and in the afternoons Samos the barman was there to look after your every need and both kept the pool area immaculate.
A short walk from the hotel towards town along the main road is a little alley way that leads you down to a quieter road at the back of of Magali Amos beach. Walking this way you get into town in about 15/20 minutes although there are some very nice tavernas along the beach if you want a closer evening out. A bus ride back from town costs €1.60 or taxi between €5 or €7
We will certainly being staying at this hotel agiain when back in Skiathos. Thank you to every one for making holiday perfect.
