My husband & myself stayed in Demetra last month for 3 weeks & my daughter & 18 year old grandson joined us for a week. We have all been to Cyprus several times but this was our first time at Demetra. We stayed in the villa next door last time but it wasn't available for our dates this year (they are both owned by the same family). Demetra is a lovely villa with lots of space indoors & outside & it is very peaceful. The views of the sea & mountains are superb. The family who own it are very friendly & helpful & the father & son sorted out some minor problems quickly. We had a lovely surprise one evening as they were having a barbecue nearby & brought us a large plate of delicious food.
The only thing that made it not totally perfect for us was the beds. Although they were clean & in good condition we found them much too hard.
Some screened windows in the bedrooms would be nice as we like to sleep with windows open but not get eaten alive. Hoping to return next year as this area of Cyprus is one of our favourite places.
