This is the second time we've stayed at the Zante Pantheon and we have booked a third. The hotel is very clean, rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. The pool is immaculate. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and always willing to help. It is in a very nice location surrounded by olive groves and it is very quiet which is great for relaxing around the pool. The food is delicious, we ate lunch there nearly every day of our 2 week stay and stayed for dinner a couple of nights.

Stayed here for one week at the end of june, we were made very welcome, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room 303 was spacious and kept very clean, with clean towels and bedding daily, we had a great sea and pool view. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the main street of bars and restaurants, and it is up a fairly steep hill, but a taxi was only 6 euros. Air con wifi and safe are both free, pool area is really nice never a problem getting a sunbed. We ate at the hotel a few time at lunch time, the chicken club sandwich was delicious.

Wow now where do I start...........This hotel deserves 5 stars!!! I booked this hotel for Mum and I last year and the communication with Dimitris was excellent, always a quick response and very helpful and on arrival we received a pleasant welcome by Yannis, we had booked a superior room and were not disappointed, very spacious, plenty of drawers and wardrobe space, bath and a shower, free fridge, safe and air con and a lovely view over looking the garden and pool, very impressed. Also the pool area was lovely, nice and quiet and you could always get a sunbed and umbrella. It was so nice to stay in a smaller hotel as so much friendlier and Yannis, Dimitris and Katerina would often sit outside in the evening with the guests and mingle, such a personal touch so was made to feel very welcome and also made some lovely friends. Breakfast was more than adequate tea, coffee, fruit, cereal, toast, omelette, fried eggs, bacon and sausages and even cake. The hotel is situated up a steep hill but don't let this put you off as it makes a pleasant stroll for the evening into the town which is only a 5 minute walk down the hill then about 3 minutes to the start of the shops etc where your find many nice bars and restaurants, our favourite was Wine & Roses. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away, stay away from the main beach, it was nicer by the Filoxenia Beach Bar which was also great for lunch and reasonable. Also 2 sunbeds & umbrella only 5 Euro's, bargain!! The bus stop is only down the hill and to the right to catch a bus into Zante Town, only 1.80 Euro's, 15 minutes and your there and just a 5 minute walk which is well worth it and only 11 Euro's for a taxi back. Well done to the Zante Pantheon for making our stay so welcoming and enjoyable and this was one of our best holidays so thank you for all your help. Love Heather and Dot. Xx

Room Tip: Superior Rooms, pool views, a must.

Yannis, Katerina & Dimitris run this hotel with their fabulous staff, (Special mention to Bessa) they are sincerely the most caring hosts I've experienced and just lovely people to be with. The rooms are cleaned to a high degree daily, the pool is immaculate, air con and safe included without add-ons like some hotels. It is a fantastic atmosphere and my partner and I have felt part of the family from the word go.

Highly recommend this hotel and the area of Tsivilli has beautiful beaches, phenomenal excursions and excellent restaurants.

just got back from a two week stay at the pantheon and wow what a superb hotel it truly is.all the family are willing to go the extra mile to make your stay that little bit special and any issues were quickly dealt with. we stayed in room 103 and everything in the room was like new with free air con & safe, shampoos ,shower gell & even complementary slippers. we had bacon eggs & fresh bread & butter most mornings helprd down with fresh orange juice, the only slight negative was the walk up the hill on the way back from the beach, but we started having a taxi back in the afternoon [6 euros] but the stroll back in the evening after a few ouzos was quite pleasant, all in all would highly recomend this hotel and will have no worries about booking for next year. yamas guys. steve & maria xx
