Situated on the main road through Tsilivi. We had an excellent meal here and found the choice to be extensive. We had the special that day and with drinks for the 2 of us it came to just over 30 euros for 2 courses. Friendly staff....would definitely recommend

only visited two evenings during our stay, but both occasions the food was excellent, service was very good considering there are only 2 waiting staff, don't quite understand the negative views for 'slow service' do you really want to be hurried along on holiday? i like the fact there is a short delay between courses, each to their own i guess, we really enjoyed it.

I found this review quite difficult to write as there were good and bad aspects of the restaurant and there really shouldn't have been any reason for the bad points.
Firstly the service. There are many reviews on TA that comment on the service and after our visit I think some of them are justified but the comments shouldn't reflect personally on the waiting staff and here's why. When we first entered the restaurant there were only 6 other diners and 2 waiting staff, a young man and a young woman, they were very friendly and welcoming and attentive to the guests. Then the restaurant started to fill up quickly and then there were roughly 50 guests in the restaurant but only the same two staff to seat people, get drinks, take orders, deliver food, you get my drift. It's no wonder that the service went downhill fast. The owner must employ more staff otherwise diners will go elsewhere. It's not the staff's fault so please don't take it out on them.
Then there is the issue with the inconsistency with the standard of the food. For starters we had a prawn cocktail and oven baked garlic mushrooms, 2 simple dishes. Although tasty, the prawn cocktail had very few prawns in it and had big pieces of the heart of the lettuce in it which was inedible. I imagined the mushrooms dripping in a lovely garlic oil or butter but they were in fact one of the driest things I've ever eaten and most of the very nice house white wine went on helping me swallow them. The mains were really tasty, but my asparagus and prawn pasta dish with a vodka and rosse sauce was so hit and miss it was infuriating. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce sublime but then they really scrimped on the prawns and the asparagus was so over cooked it simply turned to mosh in the mouth.
This place has so much potential and should be a 5 star review every time, not 3 or less. They get the difficult things spot on and the easy things wrong

We were recommended this restaurant from a couple staying in our hotel who have visited this restaurant every time they come to Tsilivi (10+ years) so we thought let's give it a go. We were over the moon to have eaten here early in our holiday as everything was beautiful. The waiter and waitress are very welcoming and friendly and exceptionally hard working, particularly when it was so busy on our 2nd visit to the restaurant on our final night of the holiday. My partner had the Pasta Di Mare which had a good variety of seafood in a gorgeous creamy sauce. She enjoyed it that much she had the same meal when we went back! The food is so fresh and came out relatively quickly. Even when it was busier the 2nd time we visited (there was a storm) the food was just as beautiful, it did come out a little slower than normal but with more customers and only the 2 of them working it was still a fantastic experience, making us appreciate how hard these 2 work. We would definitely want to return here! The panna cotta is to die for :)
