“The perfect family villa in Corfu with lovely hosts”

Dora and Irini were lovely hosts, the property is magnificent and well maintained. The views spectacular, the vibe homely, the pool clean and perfectly situated to enjoy the sunshine. It was the perfect place to stay with extended family and friends. A special time and place for everyone. So relaxing and refreshing that my wife and I would love to return.

“Superb Villa for a large group”
Reviewed 23 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children (8-11 years) has just returned from a delightful holiday at Villa Andonis. It's a very spacious, well arranged villa, with balconies to all the bedrooms and a wonderful covered dining area with extensive views across to Albania. The garden, with its olive trees, lemon and fig trees, oleanders and other exotic flowering shrubs is large enough to get lost in (the children loved it). The pool is big enough for the children to play and for the adults to swim at the same time.
Dora and Eirini were delightful hosts, both extremely helpful and yet unobtrusive. Exceptionally, they serviced the villa twice a week (including changing the bedding) They arranged taxis, organised a very enjoyable day long boat excursion with Yannis and could always be contacted to offer advice (including how to get rid of wasps!)
It's an easy walk to the local shops, tavernas and beach, though there is a short, rather steep stretch on the return. You'll always find somewhere to park near the beach, however, if you favour an easy life! (Be warned, however, if you drive into Corfu Town and park carelessly, the local police will remove your number plates!)
In sum, it's a really superb villa and we can thoroughly recommend it.

“Wonderful villa for family celebration in Corfu”
Reviewed 28 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We have just spent 2 weeks in Villa Andonis to celebrate Grannie's big birthday. 7 adults and 5 children aged 8, 6, 5, 3 and 3.5 months! The villa is brilliantly appointed in that none of us felt on eachother's toes. There was plenty of room for everyone with ensuite bathrooms, comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning.

Dora and Eirini were extremely welcoming and hospitable hosts, never once complaining about the mess that could be made by so many small children in their beloved villa. They worked so hard to answer our questions, help us with our needs and provided a non-stop source of very drinkable local wine (much cheaper than we would have paid in the local shops).

The views are spectacular and the villa itself is engulfed by stunning flowers and lemon trees (we enjoyed our own fresh lemon presse every day)! It is perfectly situated far enough away from the coastal road to avoid the noise and chaos of the traffic, yet close enough to the stunning Nissaki beach, local tavernas and perfectly stocked mini supermarkets. We hired cars and boats to explore more of the island and spent many hours enjoying the fantastic swimming pool (shade wasn't an issue due to the excellent extra-large umbrella and romantic sitting curtained area).

Tip - burn local Greek coffee to keep the wasps away at meal times (although they are not as aggressive as UK wasps and you shouldn't let them put you off). Sounds strange but the coffee really does seem to help.

We would happily book Villa Andonis again, either with a group of adult friends or other young families.

“The best villa we have ever stayed in”
Reviewed 6 January 2015 for a stay in July 2014

Villa Andonis is the perfect villa for a large family. Three couples and 4 big teenagers felt really comfortable there. The setting is breathtaking, with views ot the Albanian coast. It is situated far enough from the main road that is is quiet but is still walking distance from local anemities (shops, bars, restaurants) and the beach. The swimming pool is as large as it looks on the pictures and there were occasions when the 10 of us actually played in it together. Eirini and Dora are brilliant hosts, making you feel at home and bending over backwards to help you and advise you. They came to clean every few days and the pool was also cleaned 2x a week.
I cannot fault it in any way and it is the best villa we have stayed in over the last 10 years. We are already planning our next stay there.

Best part of the island to stay for quiet family time. Beautiful location, near to the beach and local shops and tavernas. The pool and outside eating area is relaxing and set up with everything we needed, even a table tennis table for those feeling energetic! Surrounded by hibiscus and oleander, olives and lemon trees, a lovely place to stay.
