This was the start of a 3 week honeymoon trip and it couldn't have been better. Corfu is such a nice island and the people are lovely. We arrived here after a flight from Athens then driving from the airport so were tired - especially after the long flight from the US the day before. Upon arrival, we were greeted and invited to have a seat out on the patio which looked out to the sea - with complimentary drinks. I was smitten already! After we relaxed there for a bit we were shown to our room and shortly after a lovely plate of fruit and ice creams with mimosas were delivered. At this point I'd pretty much decided I never wanted to go home!

The room was fantastic - a nice balcony overlooking the sea and great sunsets. The restaurant is very nice and romantic with excellent views and great food. Several times during our stay we were surprised with complimentary champagne or ouzo. The staff was fantastic and I was amazed at how many languages they spoke - easily switching from one to another between guests. On the day we left, we were given a nice little bag of mementos to thank us for our stay.

I can't say enough about this place! It was a place we will never forget and will hope to return to.

TRIP ADVISOR REPORT DEFINO BLU 2012

MAGICAL MYTHICAL TRIP

My family and I are repeat guests, and appreciate how hard it is to maintain such a high standard, especially given the current global economic climate.
The hotel continues to evolve, yet still retains its core values and impeccably high standards. It oozes charm, charisma and character, and has a real personal feel and family atmosphere; it is like a family gathering, except no one falls out.
Previous reports have highlighted the friendly welcome, superb location, excellent food & hospitality, magnificent sunsets, impressive rooms and all around outstanding service, so I will not elaborate on these, suffice to say ALL of Kostas and Zoi’s staff work extremely hard, nothing is too much trouble.
I will mention the stylish BEACH BEDS. These are new this year and bring sophistication to the bay. Take a look at the comfy mattress; cushion is not a grand enough word to describe these, a terrific addition to the hotel, the finer things matter so much here.
We also went on a fantastic Magical Mythical (sorry Sir Paul) boat trip, organised by Kostas. Our wonderful cruise followed the coastline out of Corfu town, travelling south and taking in breath taking scenery and crystal clear blue bays which will live forever in our memories. We stopped in stunning bays around Paxos & Anti Paxos (please see for yourselves on the pictures).
The combination available at this hotel is fabulous from beach to pool; complimentary beds, freshly laundered beach towels, an impressive breakfast array, and the pool bar which has the most spectacular view to compliment any beer or cocktail. There is something to suit all ages, a fantastic holiday experience.
If you still need convincing you must visit the web site, especially to view the many variations of room options.

Here from 28th September to 5th October 2012... if you plan to visit Corfu don't bother looking
at any other hotel....great position, best breakfast in the world and staff that really go the extra mile....(all the time!)
Lovely outlook across the beach and out to sea from the hotel's restaurant and Kostas must be very proud of the quality and character of his establishment

Thanks for a memorable holiday and we hope to return soon!

My friend and I came away for a week without children and husbands to have a relaxing week in the sun. Having been to San Stefanos last year I fell in love with the place and chose the Delphino Blu after the reviews on Trip Advisor.

The hotel certainly is everything everyone says and more. What makes this hotel special are the staff who sincerely try and make your stay wonderful from the waiters right down the the cleaning staff who work incredibly hard. Nothing is to much trouble and Kostas came and personally welcomed us which I have never experienced before. The little touches make you feel special such as a welcoming drink when you arrive, the wine and fruit in your room, a gorgeous platter of fruits and desserts delivered just after we arrived, the complimentary drinks in the fridge and the gorgeous free sunbeds along with complimentary water and bucket of ice on the beach .

The hotel is definitely boutique and is to an incredibly high standard and in a beautiful setting. The rooms was amazing and I could have lived in the shower it was so good! The breakfast buffet and evening meals were fantastic and to sit and eat dinner on the terrace watching the sunset over the ocean was amazing. This is a very romantic setting and would be a great place for couples.wanting a quiet romantic break

The hotel is currently planning a spa which will only add to the luxury of the place and we had the pleasure of being shown around the new apartments next door with one room having a private infinity pool. This block was gorgeous and the decor modern and amazing. We will certainly be watching to see when these are available as these will be a gorgeous edition to this hotel.

My friend and had an incredible week and didn't want to leave. We will definitely return and could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you Kostas and your team for making our week incredibly special.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 9 which had a fantastic seaview.
