Spent a week around Easter in Pallas with my wife. Pallas is a place where many Finns return year after year. We had our first stay there, and will very likely come back.
The rooms are pretty basic, but the sauna is great, breakfast is savoury, and the hotel is just in the middle of a wonderful ski track network. Also good opportunities for snowshoeing, downhill and free-skiing, snowkiting, etc... Also the ski guide group Pallaksen Pöllöt are very helpful, can help with all kinds of ski related questions, and even organise some small programme for both kids and adults.
Easter is a high season, so book well in advance, and prepare for queues in the dinner room. The walls in the hotel are paper thin but most people are already asleep by 11 pm. :)
If you come by car, you might want to explore also other food options, which are located in Jeris, Muonio, Olos, etc... (about 10-20 km from Hotelli Pallas)More
