Very nice room. Small and comfortable restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I made a wrong turn the morning after my first night's stay and circled back two nights later for another stay. It was a good tale to share. Stored my bicycle in the garage across the street.
Stayed one night travelling northern Spain. Nice place on great roads, worth it for the ride up. No english from the hosts but was not necessary, they were helpful and friendly and understood all we needed.
Recommended for its simplicity
We stayed one night here after doing the cycle trail nearby. San Martin is a pretty village and the hotel was very pleasant. The staff were excellent and a very good breakfast was provided. We had a lovely view from our window and the room was very quiet which is important to us. There are a few restaurants in town where you can get a good and reasonably priced meal. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The is a wonderful little hotel run by very helpful and lovely people.
If you are interested in Rock climbing or Hiking or just lookking at hills .... the setting is excellent.
The staff/owners are very knowledgeable and more than willing to give advice on the amenities in the surrounding area. We were rock climbing and provided with excellent advice on suitable routes in the various weather conditions we encountered.

A wonderful spot
We stayed 3 nights in Hotel Balcony Aguera. It was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and cozy, bust most of all the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfast each morning was an added bonus too! They have sculptures from Asturian mythology around the hotel which is fun. It's in a great place to enjoy outdoor activities such as climbing, walking or cycling.
I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area!
